    Unable to access data folder.

    Every time when i try to run For Honor it says Unable to access data folder. Please delete the following folder and try to run the game again : <appdata folder detection error>
    I have:
    Deleted the For Honor data folder in program files many times every time i launch the game again the file comes back
    Re downloaded Uplay
    Re downloaded For Honor
    Run the game as administrator
    Nothing seems to work and in the For Honor Data folder there is only 2 files named download and temp and there is no files in them.
    PLS HELP.

    Thank you for reporting this to us.

    Just to confirm, you deleted the folder found here: C:\ProgramData\For Honor Data

    I will recreate each time you launch the game, as it's needed to store information.

    Were you able to play the game before or have you gotten this error from the first time you tried to play the game?

    For honor not starting up

    HEY Support,

    After I downloaded FOR HONOR on my pc from epic can't start the game as I keep getting the error message <app data folder detection error>.
    I even deleted the FOR HONOR DATA folder in Program Data.

    Please help sort out this mess.

    Hey jaykmail,

    Do you have your Uplay and Epic folders in the same location on your PC, or do you have them on different drives?

    Did you try the steps in this FAQ?
