Did Far Cry New Dawn get censored?

Okay so I was looking through the Playstation Store at all the
pre-order games and decided to check on Far Cry New Dawn.
When the page loaded noticed the ESRB rating had
changed. It was no longer Rated M for: Blood, Intense
Violence, Mild Sexual Themes, Nudity, Strong Language, Use
of Alcohol. Like it was listed in the trailer.
lt was now Rated M for: Blood, Intense Violence, Mild Sexual
Themes, Strong Language, Use of Alcohol.
It seems like Ubisoft decided to remove nudity from the
game. I did some some searching and found that the Xbox
Store also changed the rating, but the main Far Cry New
Dawn US website remains the same. So I don't know what
the official rating is. Now I really wouldn't care if the rating
started out this way but I can't stand censorship. What do
you all think? And Ubisoft please don't censor your games.

As far as I understand - you want super nudity in the game? Two sisters lesbians running with postapocalyptic dild-s, satisfying themselves every ten minutes.... Red Dead Redemption 2 has a porn parody called Red Dead Erection. May be New Dawn also will have some porn "clone"....Don't despair! But speaking seriously, game is developing for a wide audience. And do you know who is the main consumer of the game? Children, women and asians....Teens like Far Cry very much! It means there will be less and less nudity in the game!

    Seriously, i hate censorship.

The people who buy these games are adults anyway and i imagine any that get this for their kids probably talk with them. Also Teens don't mind and even like nudity sometimes, when i was a teenager i loved rated R movies. Also isn't violence much worse than simply seeing some skin?

it's not about nudity in my opinion, it's about not censoring art. Whether it be books, movies, or in this case games

Far Cry 3 has nudity and that game did quite well even though the topless chick was ugly in my opinion

I agree, if there was no nudity from the start I wouldn't care. But the ESRB already confirmed there is nudity so why backtrack Ubisoft? No one likes censorship. Thanks for commenting.

This site is giving me whiplash.

One minute y'all are throwing a huge fit that "Ubisoft is cramming women into my game, stupid SJWs WAAAAH"

The next, yall are complaining that the women aren't naked LMAO.

Lets try to be a little consistent with our vitriol hmm?

Also, the same morons crying about censorship were crying about the Far Cry 5 reveal because they somehow felt attacked due to the religious and cultish nature of the plot. So many hypocrites.

I wouldn't care also but I CARE! Not because of nudity as nudity, but nudity as a piece of artwork. Look at the painting of the Renaissance....they are full of nudity. Not because painters were sexually obssessed. It was like fresh air....after centures of religious opression....when nudity was a sin. With their pictures they were saying - look how beautiful naked body, there is nothing sinful about it. I don't see how a bit of nudity can spoil the game. There was no nudity in Far Cry 4 and Far Cry 5....Did it make them better? Did it make them better than Far Cry 3? I don't think so.

You know nudity is not exclusive to women, but that isn't the point, the point is I don't like censorship. Whether it is male or female nudity doesn't matter. But I understand that you may be tired of hearing two different sides argue (they are entitled to their opinions), but I'm not one of those people. I hope you can understand.

Just how much nudity for men do you think is happening in this industry?

A developer chosing what content is in their final product is not the same as censorship, at least in intent.

Lets say they release the game with the nudity, then remastered and re-eeleased it years later without it. THAT is censorship. If it was never technically present for public vieiwing to take out, it isnt being cencored.

Example: the Rumored Modern Warfare 4 is rumored to have Modern Warfare 2's campaign remastered with it. Remembee the opening mission "No Russian?" The missian that sets up the bad guy for the story? That mission caught a lot of press. The rumor says theyre taking it out entirely. That would be censorship.

Please put up a link that shows me complaining about women or religious aspects in the game.
Can't find any, please be able to back up your lies if you want to be taken seriously

Honestly though, part of the reason i bought Far Cry 5 was because of the nudity in part 3 and it being set in America i thought we might get to see an attractive naked chick(s) this time
Sadly it wasn't the case but still a good game aside from the way it ended anyway

Maybe, but if it was taken out of the rating like he said when he pre ordered then it is false advertisement

Like i said before part of the reason i got Far Cry 5 was because the nudity in 3
