I try to play like I always do, in a borderless window 5760x1080. It works just fine in Far Cry 4. But in Far Cry 5, I get the option between "EYEFINITY/SURROUND", which is in full screen, or "Borderless" which seems to not go beyond 1920x1080. The rest of my resolutions are missing.
Swapping out of the game with alt+tab whenever someone sends me an IM got tedious very quickly... Is there any way to work around this?
My setup use a 1080 GTX, so Nvidia surround, using GeForce default drivers. Version 417.35 at the moment which seems to be the latest.
Below is a screenshot on how it looks like on Surround or Borderless respectively. Basically I am not able to run Far Cry 5 in window at 5670x1080 it seems. I have not found an ini or config file to force this manually either. Other games such as Far Cry 4, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Rainbow Six Siege and The Division runs in window at 5670x1080 without a problem. Sometimes I use the "Windowed Borderless Gaming" app, but here the problem is that 5670x1080 is not available as resolution for a windowed game at all.

The three options are EYEFINITY/SURROUND, Window and Borderless.
EYEFINITY/SURROUND is full-screen only and Alt+Enter have no effect.
Using Alt+Enter on Window causes the window to expand to full screen on ONE of my three monitors only (the left one).
Using Alt+Enter on Borderless causes the Borderless "window" to become a regular Window with border.
The "Aspect Ratio" setting does not change the situation. "NATIVE (16x9)" is the only option to get 1920x1080 and "16x10" is the only other option that allow me to change resolutions at all. 5760x1080 is in theory "48x9", an aspect which is not available.
When using EYEFINITY/SURROUND the aspect is set to "custom".
When using Window/Borderless with "custom" aspect the resolution is set to 1600x1024.
When in Windowed mode its possible to resize the window. I managed to get the window to 5740x1037 and the game actually runs fine in that mode without stretched gui. However, this keeps the border around the window. I was able to use Autohotkey to also remove the window border, but the border will come back when I go from the menu into the game. If I use Autohotkey to stretch the window when in "Borderless" I end up with a stretched game instead.
