what reason did she have to attack you? This sound so much like an intentionally put in "don't mess with innocent civilians" kind of thing. Stuff like this led in former AC games to desynchronization. So she might as well been intentionally designed to be pretty much invincible. Was there a reason for her to attack you?- Did you mess with her before or made her upset about something?

Im chipping in and saying this. I was in Athens after the whole fiasco with the Spartans the area sent mercs after me I was at the statue of Athena right on top of it. I leap and get out of the hay BAM everyone in that area civilians mercs gaurds all attacking. civilianss i never touch fought me since there is so many people I cant help but to kill the people even when I dont want to. They took less damage than I was and I have warrior abilities lvl 3 all i dont have is ring of chaos (lvl 1) battle cry of Ares, my fire stuff is lvl 2 and my sword has 15% fire and build up. Fire has dealt more dmg to me than to them. Im packing lvl 44 and 45 gear (cant afford upgrades as much) and the whole whole war hero set with some engravings. That's my XP

I will not say that this game is trash but it's not perfect either i will sum up some of the things that happened to me during my playthrough i'm level 70 since yesterday.

1. this was when i was level 17 and i wanted to kill someone ( a mercenary ) out of my comfort zone. That zone was three levels higher then me i tried to kill a goat a deer and a boar. But with no success i did no damage whatsoever to them they were like in godmode or something. The boar almost killed me though with only one attack but when it's the other way around so i'm three levels higher then them they still have no problems killing me.

2. i'm not sure what level i was at that time it was in my 50th 53/54 but i almost got killed by a civilian it was a woman wearing a dress and she fought barehanded. And i was wearing a legendary armor set with a legendary weapon and i still had about 90% of my health. But i almost did no damage to her and well she kicked my a.s.s and i had to run for my life.

3. yesterday when i was still level 69 i almost got killed by a lion whatever i tried i could not do any damage whatsoever to him with my sword so i had to run and shoot him with my fire arrows from far away.

4. yeah the mercenaries they are just way to powerful in this game they can kill me with only one fire arrow and i am level 70 but when it's the other way around i have to shoot at least 30 fire arrows in their heads to finally kill them and that's just not okay and i'm playing on the easy mode.

5. something entirely different why can i not wield my favorite weapon anymore i can select it but not wield it in the game.

So yeah here are some of the things that happened to me in this otherwise great game.

in what difficulty setting are you playing.

having hard time imagining why you cant kill ppl the way you said unless u have super weird build ans weird gear set up... Or if ur wearing gear thats way below ur lvl.
if ur not carefull and dodge/parry and let urself be poisened set on fire yiu can die easily. isnt it part of the challenge tho to get better and pay attention to these things? ;-)

Hm, I have a suspicion that maybe weapons with fire on it could be at fault. I saw in a video how someone was attacked by a bunch of chicken and insta-killed by them - just by walking around a corner with a drawn sword with fire on it. He just went around the corner with this weapon drawn - and bam, chickens and dead. I will stay well clear from this kind of weapons.

He just went around the corner with this weapon drawn - and bam, chickens and dead. I will stay well clear from this kind of weapons.

Well I haven't used too much fire in that fight I mean like once or twice really for that fight specificly i tried it but got me nowhere after my fire went out I used other abilities Spartan kick bull rush shield breaker and second wind. Spartan kick cant kick the brutes captains and mercs leaving me screwed

Anyone struggling with the bounty in Athens with tons of people chasing should for God's sake just use Pilgrim Set. The set bonus gives you 100% less adrenaline with shadow of Nyx ability. That means you can be invisible for UNLIMITED amount of time. I don't know how much more the game should be made easy for people. Maybe the devs should just add a 'CHILD MODE', where every enemy just runs away as soon as they see you. And while at it , the mode should also give players a notification every single minute with a reminder message saying 'You can do it. And your parents love you'.

Wel that's a d*ck thing (and i'm a d*ck myself) to say what if we cant get that set? I know I cant I'm trying but still I got so much to do and figuring things out sheesh man bloody f**king hell take into consideration about the fact that some of us like our playstyles and gear.Some of us might not be able to get sets regardless of how we are trying damn. God damn even the fact that we are underleveled for certain gear. 0 regard for the possibilities and the d*ck comment with difficulty screw off I don't need "Child Mode" i need a dmg balance cause crap is all unbalanced and balance is how I like things.But yeah the set seems helpful

I was more thinking about what triggered those civilians at all - they need a reason to attack you.
