2nd controller not detecing motion on switch

    Hi,

When we play Just Dance 2019 on Nintendo switch, we can select two players with the blue and red remote, but when the dancing starts, only one remote is picking up motions. The second controller never registers a single move and the bar does not move up.

Is this a known issue, or are we doing something wrong?

    Regards,

    Rik

Hi riktheys! Welcome to the forums. Just to clarify, you are using two Joycons to play on your Switch? Have you tried re-calibrating your Joycons?

    calibration fails

    Hi,

I've tried to calibrate the joycons. The joy con that works in Just Dance finishes calibration in a few seconds. The other joy con does not seem to calibrate. Is there a way to determine if the motion detection in the joy con is defective (all other buttons on the joy con still work)?

    Regards,

Go to HOME Menu > Controllers > Change Grip/Order and set only one Joy-Con as active. See if that Joy-Con works in single-player. If it doesn't, try calibrating it. Then do the same for the other controller.
