Hey, I have some problems with getting the game to run properly. When I launch AC Odyssey and get to the main menu, the pointer automatically starts shifting between the keyboard/mouse selection system and the controller selection system while autocorrecting to the center of the screen. This is not a problem with my real controller, as it is unplugged and the problem still exists. How do I disable this?
I have tried going into C:/Program (x86)/Ubisoft/Ubisoft Game Launcher to delete the xinput file but nothing changed.
Thanks for the support!
Edit: Sorry, but I posted this in the wrong location. Any help is still appreciated, though!
This is in the wrong forum, but I have a similar problem on my XBOX One S with Odyssey. My controller just starts drifting forward for no reason. I'll be hiding in a bush and using my arrow to assassinate a target and my character just starts moving forward. I'll hover with Ikaros and I can't even mark a target because the cursor just starts moving forward really fast. If I try to move the cursor backwards, it doesn't stop it. Sometimes my character will move forward on her own. But, if I toggle her backwards, she will stop. It is real annoying. I don't have this problem with any other game, including Origins. It is real annoying. There isn't an option to calibrate the controller in Odyssey, and if it was a XBOX controller problem, you would think I would have the same problem in Origins, but I don't have that problem in Origins. I checked the sensitivity of the controller in Odyssey and it is set at 5 for X and Y axis. So, I don't think its a controller sensitivity issue in Odyssey.
@TLGOfficial Hey there! Welcome to the forums![]()
I've actually had this same exact issue on my own. The source of my issue was due to the fact i had VJoy installed for my Gamecube controller adpater, and it would cause the game to detect VJoy and the KBM at the same time. I resolved this issue by going into the INI folder in my ACO folder in Documents, and changing the following:
KeyboardMouseEnabled = 1
AutoSwitchEnabled = 1
to:
KeyboardMouseEnabled = 0
AutoSwitchEnabled = 0
Hope this helps!
Hello! Not to worry, we'll still do our best to help you.Originally Posted by Konsti_Ninja Go to original post
Please try re-enabling AutoSwitchEnabled to see if that works. If your movement starts flickering again, try temporarily removing your mouse & keyboard while you play the game.
I hope that helps!
