They are 100% fixed. The issue pre patch was his attack was doing damage before the indicator would show this. This was because prior to release his lights were 600ms. But the devs sped up the attacks to 500ms when dropping the content. They didn't bother to update the animations/indicators after changing the speed which is what caused the above issue. The patch fixed this 100% as i'm now able to reliably block and parry his follow up lights.
