I got my game today, really happy!

I have just played for like 2hours and entering the harbour to end successfull mission is really bugging me...Is it supposed to be like this? Sitting and waiting for like 10mins until your ship has docked? Isn't ther any other way?

If it so, I'm abit dissapointed really!

Please help!

Hi Gerry,

When you’ve done all you please on your Patrol and have returned to Port/Base â€" just press <span class="ev_code_white">Esc</span> â€" then select the option: “Dock at (Port Name).â€Â�

The downside of ending your patrol out at sea is you do not get renown for returning back to the base you started at (which is about 100). However, you can return close to port (about 30 kilometers or so, I dont know the exact number) and then press ESC which will give you the option to "dock at...(whatever base you started at)".

I believe Lecek said earlier, too (somewhere), that it works to ‘Esc’ anytime after the Sim pauses / loads the Base/Port scenery.
Makes good sense to me.
