I'm having a problem with my CD-Burner. It seems not to recognize that I have a Read-Write disc that I want to format so I can write over it. Not sure if it's a StarForce problem. I haven't tried to used my burner til now. I recall seeing some info about a utility from Starforce that will remove their drivers from my computer.
Does anyone have a link to their removal utility? And do I have to uninstall SH3 in addtion to using to using the Starforce utility or can I just use the the utility by itself to remove starforce. I realize that I can't play SH3, but that's fine with me, just want to see if my burner will work after removing starforce.

I somewhat doubt it will make any difference at-all whether you Un-install SH III in addition to running the SFDRT.
If you don’t, you’ll know it was SF if your Drive works after removing the drivers.
If you do, you’ll have a ‘cleaner’ run at checking the Drive and already be set-up to re-install SH III (Including SF) should you choose to do that.
So it seems to me. It’s just an opinion tho’ â€" please don’t take it as anything more.

That is where all of the technical discusions are. You might have a better chance finding help over there.

SHIII is not the only game out there which will
give u trouble with CD/DVD burn software.
Make sure to uninstall those warez b4 playing, u can have a setup ready in for example temp directory ... re-install when needed.
This works for me anywayz, good luck
