    Centurion Buff Idea

I believe Centurion should get a move, I.E. some new type of opener on top of his preexisting one. I feel it should be a tie into his charged heavy to where say mid air, or just before he does his leaping charged heavy the player can press the right keybinded button and make Centurion punch with his fist opening another free light, that way his "Mix-up intensive" description is actually mix-up intensive.

Definitely I had suggested a quick Headbutt, like throwing a punch out of left field (metaphorically)

Id be down for it if it werent for the fact that you already have the infamous cutscene in your kit. Make that interruptable in exchange for what youre asking for then sure. Otherwise there's really no reason to give him anything else. He's not underpowered or overpowered right now. People know his move set (or at least should by now) so its not hard to counter in a 1v1 but he's still quite viable in 4v4 modes.

At this point asking to buff any character that hasnt recieved a rework or substantial compensation to meet the current standard requires a compromise. For instance shinobi, if you wanted to take away some of his speed youd have to give something in return to compensate for that loss, like more health or damage.

Thats a shoutout to shinobis or anything, i dont even play that character, but it is just an example. What youre asking for is to give a perfectly viable character even more to work with than they need especially with what he's already equiped with.

This is an interesting idea! Do you think It could be possible that this could make Centurion too powerful of a warrior? I'd like to get everyone else's opinion on this as well and whether or not you agree with OP.

And this is basically why including the top 30% of players in balancing data was a bad idea.

They can easily counter it with a dodge. Unless ubisoft make the punch tracking.

    ^this!

Same as this "Why Lawbringer doesn't need a rework" thread last days.

In my opinion I don't think it'd be overpowered in anyway, due to the fact that once he'd engage his leaping punch he wouldn't be able to feint or stop it. If he landed it, it would only be a light attack much like his successful kick would be. The reason it'd be neat to see it tied in with his charged heavy is because it would keep the enemy guessing whether or not he's going to let the heavy fly, turn it into a punch, or soft feint it into a GB. But the kicker is, it's not a fifty fifty due to the punch only being activated just as the Centurion leaps, committing him to the move. It wouldn't be like Warden's shoulder bash where you can be baited into a GB halfway through the move.

if they could give the conqueror the broken shield bash why not what you said right? I mean, conqueror shield bash is more broken and they aren't fixing it.

Well the problem with Conq is much like Warden is they can do it from neutral stance and it's pretty hard to guess whether or not it's a 50/50. If all Conq had was his bash from attack, say his light to SB and heavy to SB "Soft-feints" then he'd be in a cozy spot, but since it's the guess of "Should I dodge or not?" from neutral is the OP aspect about Conq.

If Ubisoft could find a way of balancing the fast bashes from neutral, making them chain off something else before they can be used or, have to be committed to the opener - 50/50s then I feel most of the game wouldn't feel as spammy right now.
