I'm OK with that. Even more, if that could be one day earlier, then maybe, I could be that guy, who bought one of those huge weapon sets. While those "ads" are of ingame stuff, I'm okay with it.

I'm not getting ANY pop up ads during game play. Are there others who are?

It's prior to the menu screen. It's gigantic and obnoxious. It's a game, not a billboard and I think OP is right to protest its inclusion in a AAA game.

It's gone as with all the previous temporary Club notices and other things they have put on that screen, and it was only click to get through anyway.

There isn't a AAA game I have owned that hasn't advertised its own content in the game somehow, and this was not really a pop up, more an extra intro screen. It's been used since launch on and off.

This, like everything else should not be abused, and yet they do it with the excuse that some people may like it or some people don't mind it. Well, how about you respect others and at least make it an option whether you want to receive any form of notification. One of the reasons I use a temp email is because Companies not respecting your privacy and you almost have to sue them for them to stop. And yes, it does not take more than a second or two for it to go away but that is not the point.

One of the beautiful things about playing Offline is you don't get any of those annoying ads but it shouldn't have to be like that and unless you are ok with it, they should think that everyone is.
