    Mentors Guild AC Day giveaway!

    Hello all,

Six years ago today, on December 21st, 2012, a courageous Assassin named Desmond Miles sacrificed himself to save the world from a disastrous solar flare.

In remembrance, today marks the first official #ACDay, when we celebrate Assassin's Creed and all that it has brought to us, the fans.

To mark the festivities, the Mentors have planned many exciting activities across Twitter, Instagram and Reddit.

For the Forums, we will be giving away up to 50 (!) Eagle Kopis weapon codes for Assassin's Creed: Odyssey.
This weapon is for all platforms (PC, PS4 and XBox One) and, for the moment, exclusive only to those who have a code.

All you have to do to receive your code is to share your favorite Assassin's Creed memory in this thread!

It can be anything as long as it's AC-related (keep it PG, please ):
your favorite scene from any of the games or expanded universe (keep spoilers under spoiler cut),
that time you met your best friend through AC,
the first time you played AC and realized you were hooked,
your cat that was named after an AC character,
    anything.

Everyone who participates should keep an eye on their PM inbox: https://forums.ubi.com/private.php

[Edited to add: Please note that those who already received an Eagle Kopis code
earlier in the Photo Mode contest are not eligible for a second code]

    Happy #ACDay, everyone!

This one is really easy for me . . I was playing my first AC game, Brotherhood.

It was night time in the game with a bright full moon and the 'City of Rome' music was playing as I was on a rooftop just overlooking the city of Rome....
It was one of most beautiful & awesome things I remember playing in a video game.

In the beginning there was Assassin's Creed. I remember buying it as a way to make time go by as I waited for Metal Gear Solid IV to come out. The game that I began playing hooked me into a world where anything is possible.... The characters and the story got me hooked. I may have stopped playing after AC3 but this summer Origins reacquainted me with the game and I was hooked again. Odyssey is in my PS4 and hasn't been taken out since it arrived. I hope that in the future Ubisoft continues to make games like Odyssey because they are definitely worth the playtime...(410 hours so far).

Beautiful memory, Prodi! Indeed, night time in Rome was something else. Also in Brotherhood, my favourite moment was climbing modern Monteriggioni to the top of Villa Auditore, looking at the horizon to some town that didn't exist in Ezio's period. It was a beautiful sight, and I remember thinking about the pass of time and comparing things between the past and the present.

Many, many memories. Buying an AC is like Christmas and summertime, like a vacation that I eagerly await.

    How awesome!!!

Ya that game at night was so special... it was sort of a first time venturing away from First Person Shooters too, so to have that feeling that I got from Rome, Ezio... the soundtrack..
it was just a pinnacle of my gaming history & will always be special for that reason.

Odyssey is like new icing on the cake. Still my favorite game series.
    THANKS UBI !

I will admit that I have limited experience with the AC series of games having only played Black Flag and Odyssey. However, the moment that I would call my favorite memory is at the end of Black Flag when Anne sings The Parting Glass. You look at the table with your comrades that have passed, then meet the daughter you've never seen. It always brings a bit of a tear to the eye when I watch it again.

    Best AC memory for GiveAway.

First of all, i would really really appreciate to win a code for the eagle kopis as i am a fan since the first assassin’s creed. But now tonenter the giveaway the right way : my best AC memory is when i first completed an AC. It was AC1 and i was trying to finish my last achievement. Which was the (all the flags one) i was searching everywhere to find that damn last flag and i happened to find it. I remember the feeling that invades me. The feeling of being 100% proud of sonething i did by myself. From that time i 100%ed every single AC games that came out and everytime i feeled that feeling again upon completing it. Thanks for every second of AC gaming Ubi and thank the mentors guild for the giveaway.

Yep, a quite beautiful and melancholic moment. Then I think you’ll love this video like I do, here’s to Black Flag:

Unfortunately, not all my memories from Brotherhood are so romantic and melancholic like the one I described. I still remember the anger that I felt playing the Da Vinci’s machines missions over and over and over again, just because I felt COMPELLED to complete the "supposed optional" and very evil objectives, like not letting the tank to receive any harm and the likes. Seriously, I wanted to throw the gamepad to the TV, HARD

But that was back then, replaying it afterwards was a different experience, when I left that stupid obsession behind me
