I'm doing this session that has 9 workouts instead of the usual 6. The descriptions don't match up to the workout. Workout 3 is actually the description from 6. On the ones where there are only 6, you need to complete 4 to advance. Does anyone know how many you have to complete out of 9? I did 7 and it told me I had unlocked new routines and then it said I completed a beginner level but this session is in the trained section and 2.3 did not get unlocked.

Welcome to the extremely broken world of Your Shape!
You might find the link below helpful; in fact, the whole website is extremely useful.
http://yourshapefitnessevolved.wikia.com/wiki/Cardio
But in summary, each session is split up into two or three routines (depending on type of exercise: Cardio, Toning, Sculpting, and the level: Beginner, Trained, Advanced), and each routine has three exercises. You need to score 80% or more to "complete" the session (get a tick). This can be very frustrating with some sessions, as you will discover to your frustration, because some exercises simply don't register your movements properly. However, it doesn't matter if you don't "complete" every session in a sub-section (e.g. Cardio 2.2) as you only need to complete two thirds of the sessions to unlock the next sub-section. As you progress the number of sessions in a sub-section will be six, nine, or twelve.

I've seen that site before, it was very helpful. I did get more than 80% on each of the 7 routines though. 2/3 should have meant I only had to do 6 but it didn't unlock so I did another section. The problem is that it said it unlocked a new routine and it didn't. I should be able to access 2.3 now.

If you go into "Choose session", how many of the Cardio 2.2 sessions have ticks next to them?
Of course, you may have a bug I've not encountered (highly probable given the software!), but I found that when I went back the next day and started my program it would make me do any sessions for which I did not have a tick. Once 2/3 of the sessions were completed (actually gained ticks) it would unlock the next sub-section and my program seemed to advance with it meaning I didn't have to worry about sessions I couldn't get 80% or more on (this is because I can't do hit impact exercises, such as Pendulum).
Interestingly, and this might be your problem... after playing the game for a long time I found that at some random stage all the sub-sections unlocked; I think this happened when I got to one of the Advanced sub-sections. However, if I randomly choose a session I've not done as part of my program and get 100% or a bit less it doesn't put a tick next to it. In other words, the only way to get a session "ticked" is to do it as part of your program.

Where does it show the ticks? I never noticed anything changing on each set, the only thing i've ever notied is the lock on the whole session. I'm not doing it as part of a program so maybe that is why I don't see anything. I just go to cardio and choose a session and I've gone from 1.1 up to 2.2. From the posts I read before, it sounded like doing a program was the cause of a lot of the problems. And I thought if you did the program you had to do the same routine for multiple sessions. Maybe I should just stick with the cardio boxing and forget about the rest. This game is way too frustrating for me.

As far as I know, if you select "Update My Program" and choose to do "Cardio" it will pick-up at the last sub-section you unlocked. So in your case it should start you on the first session in Cardio 2.2 for which you didn't score 80% or more. If you get the required score then the next time you go to "Choose A Session" it will have a tick next to it. I think that if you haven't done it as part of a program then it has an invisible tick. In other words, it counts as one of the required 2/3 to be completed to unlock the next sub-section, but you won't know which sessions you've "passed".
I would suggest that you go through the "Update My Program" (try something different) and select Cardio to see which session it thinks you've not passed. Then you could at least target that one. If you do the entire session and select "Play Next" then it will take you to the next session you haven't completed on that sub-section. You can keep doing this if you have enough stamina! The annoying thing is that if you select "Finish" and come back another time then it will start you on the first session you haven't completed. It is like Ground-Hog day!
Having said all that, I've unlocked every session now and I think the Cardio sessions are too frustrating to make them worth doing. I tend to do two or three Toning sessions each day and one or two Cardio Boxing to get a proper workout. I find that the tracking in the Toning works much better for me and I score around 100% on most of them all the time. Some might find it a bit boring, but the last sub-sections on the Advanced Toning are excellent as it makes you do around nine of the same thing, so you really use your muscles.

I think that's right that there is no indication which ones were completed at 80%. I will try the update my program and see what happens.
If I were using this as my main workout program, I would be pretty aggravated with it. I use it as some extra cardio while I'm doing P90X as my primary program. The cardio does get my hr up when I do enough sessions, I went for a short run on Saturday then came in and did an hour of the cardio and it worked well doing it together.

I still can't get this session to work right. I've completed 8 out of 9 and it still doesn't unlock 2.3. If I go directly to update my program or start my program, it just goes to a routine, there is no place to show any ticks that it has been completed.
