Personally I don’t think anyone liked Narco Rd.Originally Posted by cordlessimpact Go to original post
I think not only was it completely absurd and had nothing to do with GR, but worse it was just boring.
Narco Rd, and whomever in the Dev team thought that up should simply not work on a GR game again, because they clearly have no love for the series, and we’re that bored by it that they desperately wanted to do something more akin to GTA or Just Cause!
You know — I hated Narco rd that much, I would have preferred a full on Predator DLC, rather than Narco Rd.
Naturally it depends on the content. In co-op, are you required to have 4 humans as a team? I don't believe that's a requirement. If not, then the remaining AI team members are controlled by whom? Or in co-op are there only players on the team and remaining AI teammates are removed? Also I believe you are required to own the game if you wish to play co-op. If so, then naturally I see a possible issue if player A has a different version of the game than player B, etc. etc.Originally Posted by Hugo-FOU Go to original post
Let's take Caveira's gloves as an example. They only effect a single player (they are an individual item, as would be the FG knife) - if that item has been acquired the core version of the game hasn't been changed. The coding has been added, waiting to be activated if the gloves are used. OTOH to change how you interface with the AI team (individual team member orders for example) based on "something" purchased in the store is a whole other ballgame when it comes to how it would be designed and not have different versions of the game being maintained by Ubisoft, one for those who have the "new" features, and for others the original currently in use. LaMOi's request/suggestion for a much more simple ROE toggle OTOH I also don't think would be a major issue, but it would be universal to the game, and not something to be purchased as a separate item.
This would be the ideal. I just don’t see them adding anything more complicated than cosmetics and a few weapons without the prospect of a profit.Originally Posted by Ryo_Hazaki Go to original post
I'd pay for content rich DLC, not gameplay features that should've been there in the first place.
Frankly, I wish I could visit violence on those who even think of engaging with such systems...and I wish somebody would've done the same to me when I was sinking money on cosmetics and season passes.
Re: Tangible Profit
The long term profit is a healthy, passionate community that spends more money in-game for a longer time because the devs don't resort to abhorrent monetization tactics. This is a strategic decision and smart business practice.
Goodwill is of great value.
I think whenever you play coop all Al team are removed, even if you are just playing with one person.Originally Posted by MikeWeeks Go to original post

There are many things I think could or should have been included in the main game.
Individual team orders and such.
I bought the FG DLC so why shouldn’t I have the FG knife in the main game. Why shouldn’t those with NR be able to access their monster trucks. (I didn’t buy that one myself as it looked silly).
But these things aren’t available and sadly I don’t think they will be.
Possibly the problem is how good this game is already. It’s still very good without these extras, so why add them if it doesn’t make money?
I definitely would buy any addon, if developers would promise that they'll implement at least some important part of required.
But also, I strongly doubt that Ubi didn't make enough money to make some additional polishing efforts to this game. This game is a diamond, but it really need some more additional work.
I definitely would not spend any more money on aynthing for this game that doesn't change the gameplay of the main game. Without adding squad commands and making those 3 clowns meaningful and properly controlable this game is not worth coming back to again. And honestly I wouldn't even pay for that as I am bored to death by this games content after 2 years without interesting or meaningful additions.
For the dear love of god, let it die and stop turning it into a mockery of what GRW was. The inital release was cool and with friends it was fun, but it definitely doesn't have a gameplay that can sustain another year without major change. Probably the resources to improve the game are better spent on a new one instead of those poorly designed and executed SO and packs.
At this point, this is the only reasonable and likely solution to getting what we want.Originally Posted by biomag83 Go to original post
The idea of paying for additional game mechanics is absurd in my opinion.
