Oh and to be clear, because some people seem to think that derankers enjoy destroying players with weaker decks, I don't enjoy that. I am not some sadist who likes teasing people. I just do it because it is right now the most efficient way to get all the rewards. For the Santa event, I had to win 80 matches! Yes, I was very unlucky with the lockers this time. I don't want to think about the time and frustration it would have cost me if I had to do that with 2/3 of my matches being losse or draws :s. But I would much rather have a reward system that stimulates me to try my best the entire season and not just on the last day.
What I actually hate is derankers with attitude when winning back their positiontion. Why do they need to be *******s when they clearly have better decks, when they clearly paid for their deck, too, not even less...? If this could be stopped, I would be in a much better mood. I like fair losses, when the game is exciting.Originally Posted by Hanmann Go to original post
The only way to stop deranking is to make it far more attractive to not-derank. Lets assume that there wont be any changes in the rewards as for economic reasons, there are stille plenty of opportunities to make upranking continuously more attractive. One of my favourite ideas would be to be able to eliminate cards you dont want to get as you climb the legendary ladder. This way, you wont get that 575th card you dont use, buy increase your chances to get one that you actually have in your deck. This especially applies to upgrade items of course.
I also like the idea of having more measurements during the season, though I still think deranking will remain interesting, only with shorter bursts...
Other options would be to reduce the time between PVP packs as you move up or increase the amount of lockers before the locker limit hits, but these have obvious consequences for ubi-income of course.
Yeah, really irritating when they mock you when they clearly have a more powerful deck like they actually accomplished something. I'm alright losing to someone with a more powerful deck if they're humble about it, but when they start laughing at me I wish I could physically punch them in the nuts.Originally Posted by fecog Go to original post
You guys crack me up. Keep deranking. It's hilarious. It actually makes the 800-1500 tier more enjoyable to play in with all the toughies cowering down in silver shield and low legendary. The only hard matches I see are vs the big whales who have four lvl 4 legendaries in their deck and lvl 5 epics. I quit those game immediately because I don't have time to waste and nothing to prove.
It doesn't matter where you get them, it's frustrating. And you admit this as well by quitting "those" games immediately. If there was no deranking, you would not need to quit ever, but play your best.Originally Posted by DarthCh3f Go to original post
