Hello everyone, ubisoft and players alike.
I'm making this post in an endeavor to see this game reach a level of popularity this game deserves.
The current state of this product is quite honestly deplorable, and I know It can certainly be better.

Monetizing
This is probably my biggest gripe as every almost EVERY aspect of this game is currently being monetized. I would list exactly everything that is, but I would have to digress into way too much for the quality of this post. (I'm not a HTML/CSS pro.) While I do understand that Ubisoft has -made changes- to the players rate at which they can acquire steel, making it a bit better, but considering everything cost steel, it's like trying to break into a bull stock market with 50 dollars in stocks. Really, I am absolutely going to drive the point home about how ashamed Ubisoft should be for spending this much time on a game only to block a majority of it's content behind a gigantic pay wall; Another funny thing about this is if I try to delineate about this topic, I am often met with people telling me "Oh it's just cosmetics it doesn't matter." and yes while this is true, it still makes up a part of the game. I would rather see cosmetics in loot boxes, and not the equipment we use to play the damn game. You know, like the other game that was a huge hit.
Gear stats/Perks
This has been a complete joke since beta. Ubisoft has changed this system several times over SEVERAL TIMES! Sweet innocent baby Jesus, cheap chinese mobile games get gear stats down better than Ubisoft. It has progressively declined into a state of no return, which is why I believe ubisoft should COMPLETELY REMOVE IT ALL TOGETHER Let me explain, For Honor in it's entirety is a fighting game, if you absolutely must jam stats into the game, at least jam them into the characters themselves, give them a set rate of damage, sort of like giving a sword an attack speed, rate of damage; You know, like the guns in the other game that was a huge hit.
Leveling system
Ah yes our sense of pride and accomplishment. I'm going to sum this is really hard because it's such a let down and needs to be gutted.
It will take you thousands of hours if you want to see your roster at 50- oh wait, 60 rep. I wish I was kidding. I am not, and there is no point to going above 9. The time crunch is only circumvented through the champion status system and the per match xp boost.
No Ubisoft, we don't want to just stick to 1-3 characters, why in the hell would we, considering you keep cranking them out, and have decided to start a yearly pass, and FURTHER monetize us, you know, like the other game that was a huge hit.
Character Balancing
This greatly ties into the rest of everything I have talked about, considering it is the bread and butter of every fighting game. At the current moment, Ubisoft has to juggle character stats, and somehow merge that with it's new perk system. It's almost like Ubisoft has two teams working on on the game, and have no idea. It would be considerably easier if they consolidated their resources into working a single character stat system than character + gear stats. Obligatory meme I've been forcing.
Final Thoughts
Ubisoft, how on earth did you make this and then make this game feel like such a money grab and a total grind fest, which has been addressed ever since For Honor has been out. I have 141 hours in this game all for it to feel like I have accomplished nothing, and I can't fathom spending more than 500 because of how flawed the game is. Seriously, you broke into the fighting genre with what feels like a breath of fresh air, followed by a lung collapsing fart. Why didn't you just crank a loot box system into the game for cosmetic items, it's -the laziest way- to monetize a game to ensure continued growth, and it would have been leaps and bounds better than what you currently have.
If you got this far, I cannot thank you enough, and please leave any feedback you desire, any is appreciated. I also want to thank Ubisoft for creating For Honor, without you I wouldn't be here, trying to help.
