    Leave Penalty

I left to join my friend and it banned me, what the ****. Who thought this was a good idea?

The same people who made a 10 minute ban, removed it and now increased it to 15 minutes. The casual players are leaving this game in droves. For people with limited amounts of play time, a 15 minute ban due to them being AFK a few seconds too long or because they left a match they didn't want to participate in (they are supposed to have a 30 second allowance but I've gotten the penalty a few times even when I have left immediately after the game starts) are just making more people leave and not come back. I don't mind the penalty. It's necessary in a way. It's not fair for people to be forced into having a team full of bots. Unfortunately, many people are being penalized even when it's not supposed to occur. Each major update brings back a influx of players. The fact that 2 weeks later they are back to the same population says a lot about this game. Don't get mad about it. There are thousands of other titles which are enjoyable. I knew over a dozen people who played For Honor at one time. Over the last year, EVERY single player that I know has quit the game. I rarely play. I might put in 2 hours a week at this point. At this point I've accepted that this game will never be what I want it to be. It's designed for players who can devote hundreds of hours into it. It's not designed for casual players to enjoy.

So you left your current teammates to join up with some friends and got a penalty for abandoning a teammates that needed you....sounds legit....really it sounds legit.

yeah seriously, just do that if you don't want a leave penalty. And they have stated ever since removing the penalty the number of quit outs skyrocketed so the put it back. I am honestly for a leaver penalty. I understand people being upset at a penalty with limited playtime and all but you are ruining the game for the remaining people involved, who now have to do more work because you got salty or whatever. Also quitting in Breach basically guarantees the loss for your former team as well.

Again. Go to dashboard, close game, reopen game, no penalty.

I was on a team with two bots, and there is no join session in progress option for friends, please think before you post.

Obviously. Otherwise that would create a way around the penalty.

If you want to leave a game without it triggering, kill For Honor in Task Manager. Relaunching it takes 1 minute compared to 15.
