You are correct, I did get lucky, issue is still there. Today it happened straight away, damn it.

Probably weirdest bug I've ever encountered

This is such a weird bug. Me and my girlfriend both got the exact same 1660 Ti (which has the same architecture as the RTX cards and therefore the same problems) and since the latest driver update I'm able to play the game again normally but she still has the bug and honestly we're speechless. We've been looking for a workaround but so far nothing has worked. I really hope this gets fixed soon but reading this bug exists since September kind of destroys my hope.

How long this bug is active? Still not fixed?! I have the same with GTX 1080Ti.

Add me to the list for this bug.

Game starts and loads fine, much better frame rate (measured by FRAPS) than with my GTX1080Ti------until I go to the load out screen. Instant freeze! If I wait a few seconds "sometimes" the freeze will crash back to Uplay; more often I have to hard shut my comp (can't even bring up Task Manager successfully during the freeze) and reboot.

    System specs:

    Win 10 Home 64 ver 1809
    i7 8700k oced to 4.7GHz (turbo)/240mm AIO cooler
    ASUS ROG STRIX Z370H MB
    32GB DDR4 3000
RTX 2080Ti/Nvidia 419.17 drivers (uninstalled old 1080Ti drivers & firmware in safemode with display driver uninstaller; rebooted and clean install of 419.17 drivers)
    ViewSonic XG27 display @ 2560 x 1440P @ 144Hz
    500GB OS SATA3 SSD
    1TB SATA3 storage SSD
    Creative Sound Blaster Z
    Corsair 850W PSU

UPDATE: Per a post on page 2 or 3 of this thread; my GRW (including access to the load out screen) works when in OFFLINE MODE.

    Disappointing

I recently upgraded my gaming rig with a 9900k and RTX2080. Decided to jump back into some Ghost Recon and discovered this bug. After researching I CAN NOT believe this has been going on since the launch of the Turing cards and UBI has not fixed. I have always been a big supporter of Ubisoft and this is extremely disappointing.

    I also submitted a case 08212756.

    Was bugged

I had the same problem, couldnt access the inventory, it fixed itself somehow.

I started the guerilla mode, played 2-3 game then i went back to campaign and the game was normal except everything was tagged new.

My weapon loadout was different, also my weapon parts loadout was reset.

I experienced the loadout reset aswell after joining into a different mode than the standard PVE... but it's not fixed, you were just lucky. check the posts before yours... it's a gamble... sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

    Nvidia Drivers 419.35

I just downloaded the new Nvidia driver 419.35 and it's seemed to have fixed the inventory crash issue.

I won't hold my breath and I'll test it again tomorrow to see and follow up if anything else changes - but they may have fixed / changed something.

    GeForce RTX 2070
    Driver Version 419.35
    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6800K CPU @ 3.40GHz
    32 GB RAM
