Gamebreaking Bug for RTX 20xx Users: Cannot Access Inventory Without Crash To Desktop

There's a severe gamebreaking bug for Nvidia RTX 20xx users. We cannot access our inventory/loadout screen without an immediate crash to desktop. This affects all RTX users including 2070, 2080, and 2080ti. I have no idea how this made it through your QA process.

This has been documented by SO MANY users already:

Come on guys, we literally CANNOT CHANGE WEAPONS or access our inventory without a crash. This is a gamebreaking bug and the length of time this has been going on is astounding. Please look into this ASAP.

I'm glad to see a post about this, as I was just about to make one myself. I have an RTX 2080 and I'm really dissapointed that I can't play without the game constantly crashing during inventory use. The only temporary fix I've used is going offline in Uplay, but it messes up the process of saving the game. I really hope they can find a way to fix this.

No problem, hopefully mods / Ubisoft support sees this and makes it a priority. Here's the other PC forum mega-thread with dozens of users reporting that RTX 20xx series cards crash on inventory open: https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.ph...ry-menue/page7
