Just host your pic on a site like imgur, then click the direct copy link for it, and click the 3rd icon from the right atop the forum's posting text box that says Insert Image. Then just paste the copied image link.

Yeah, I was also. Had just bit the bullet in order to show some screen shots.

I assume Ubisoft doesn't want to have to deal with storing images on whatever are the servers that host their forums. UIM, they only store the texts.

Don't worry, it's super easy.

Just go to Imgur.com, select "new post" from the top, and upload your image.

It will then take you to a page with your image in it. Right click on thee image and "open in new tab" to get the actual address for the image file.

Then use this button...



...here in the forum's post interface and copy that image link into it.

And there you have it.

Just make sure it's the actual image's address you put into the forum interface, I see a lot of people around here typing the Imgur page address instead, and that results in broken embeds.

Now go forth and show us many, many epic screenshots! ))))

Thanks for the help non, I was a bit short on time to explain all that. I would have thought saying "a site like imgur" would have made it obvious, but I guess not.

Someone should write a script that allows the image embedder to analyse an Imgur page for an image and immediately deduce what element of that page is the actual main image the poster intends to share. The video embedder does it with YouTube vids after all.

I've seen quite a few broken image links around here because it doesn't occur to people that the forum is smart at videos but dumb at images. XD

Either make an account or not
New post
Upload
Select the file you wish to upload
When it's done, if you're on PC, you can see they have prepared BBCode, copy paste that here
Otherwise, copy the image link, paste it here, write [img] (the image link) [/img]
