I've started having a weird issue where if I was playing Wildlands and the game closes for any reason (I quit the game or it crashes) GRW.exe continues to run based on task manager and I can't restart the game until I restart Windows. This only started after the Special Operations 3 patch.

Strange that it is hanging and not going away. Have you tried running Uplay as administrator? Also, make sure you have no firewall blocking the Launcher.

Uplay as administrator doesn't help. The problem is also specific to Wildlands. I bought Wildlands on steam so I tried launching both Shadow of the Tomb Raider (a steam game) and The Division (A UPlay game I also own on Steam) and neither had the same issue. I'm currently redownloading the game after I uninstalled it so I'll update if this fixes the issue.
EDIT: No change after reinstall. Same problem
EDIT2: Figured out what was causing it. GRW.exe was apparently hanging on to my USB DAC because once I switched it over to TOSLINK the problem went away.
