You are saying that matchmaking is due to my pvp lvl not my own lvl. As we can see on that picture is totaly nonsense. What can I do against 21 lvl ?

https://i.imgur.com/eCxQtdO.jpg,
After all when I get someone with lower pvp lvl i dont know why he should be on my pvp lvl am i right ? But if i get someone with lower pvp lvl he is never lower lvl than me but he is like +6 lvl

So what game is about ? Matchmaking us with pvp lvls and all time long they are like +4 lvl's than I am. Never my lvl never lower lvl. And when I get lower pvp lvl he is like 21 lvl hahah. I think this matchmaking is only for one think to make us angry. What is the point to play this game if i am losing all time long and i can play only at night when this super hight lvl guys are sleeping ?
There is easy solution make pvp matchmaking due to lvl of account not pvp before legendary lvl. After you get legendary it should be due to elo.
This easy way will force de rankers to stay at normal pvp lvl caouse they will fight against each other.
I absolutely agree, I'm usually pretty understanding of problems with card balance and other seemingly questionable decisions on the developers part, but matchmaking is easily my #1 concern with the health of the game.Originally Posted by MD.Snow Go to original post
I am getting fed up of this as well
last night sat at 10400 ELO get matched with level 20's with higher cards and higher ELO.. fair enough...
so WHY does the game then start matching me with 9000 ELO DERANKERS lost 1200 ELO IN 4 GAMES because I was fighting the same generic stuff (19-20 nk) with cards like level 4 BHK, one had a level 4 mecha timmy.
1. these players should have 12000+ ELO not 9000
2. these players at that point were 700+ BELOW MY ELO therefore costing me 200+ of my EARNED ELO
3 I work that rank back up a bit......and low and behold a level 20 Russian deranker with 8000 ELO with cards including level 4 BHK and towlie get matches up with my 9500 ELO.. wiping out ALL OF MY EFFORT. absolute joke.
so yea lets put what I WANT here
I DO NOT WANT TO BE MATCHED WITH 500+ LOWER ELO PLAYERS, STOP DOING IT, THEY GIVE ME JACK FOR A WIN OR WIPE OUT 2 WINS IF DERANKER, let alone 1500, at 10k did I get matched with 11500? no, I did not, so sort it out.
DO SOMETHING ABOUT DERANKERS, SICK OF THIS NOW.
Something to mention, it could very well be a matter of playerbase size. If there aren't players in your ELO range to match against at the time, the matchmaking system will widen the range until you can be matched.
Still a problem IMO, but if they restricted the ELO range in matchmaking too much, then players would commonly complain about long matchmaking times. Deranking is ****ty, but it might not be the only problem.
Also for the record, +/-1200 ELO isn't a huge loss, that's at most, 10 games won or lost in a row, and can be made up in an hour or less, if you win consistently.
1200 is a lot when you hover around 10k I got it all back and them some but it is infuriating as i got to 10800 then got matched against a 9800 deranker then someone really high... I really couldn't care how long matchmaking takes I would rather wait 2x longer and a fairer match then derankers wrecking my hard work, I earn my rank, then get punted down to dumb RNG abusers and direct damage spammers
You are PVP level 50. Fighting a nk lvl 18 is common at that pvp lvl. Most people in that range are nk lvl 16+ as you are 1 lvl outside of legendary. The fight against the pvp lvl 38, nk lvl 20 was more of a punishment against the deranker lvl 20 than you. The game was trying to make the deranker fight a harder opponent.
The reason you are fighting higher lvl players is because you are fighting at a much higher pvp lvl than you should be. Most nk lvl 13 players fight around pvp lvl 42. You are either really good at the game, or you dumped a lot of money into some cards. A good strategy with lower lvl cards can only take you so far until the other guy can beat you with high lvl cards and a bad strategy.
Bumping this thread because matchmaking is by far the worst thing about this game and Ubisoft/Redlynx refuses to comment on the subject. I'm thinking I'll likely bump this thread every day until someone from staff can comment on it, because I'm sick and tired of playing against people who have entire decks of cards that are levels above mine, rendering the game lost from the beginning.
I am not sure what happens in the regular ranks but in Legendary, the match making is more or less fair unless you are in the top 4000.
In the top 4000, you go up against players from rank 200 in the world all the way up to 4000.
You really get a beat down by those high ranked players.
I have ranked from 14000 in legendary and worked my way up to somewhere in the 3000's... and no, i have not spent a single cent on the game, pure hard work.
The problem is in silver sheilds and in low legendary as well. The ELO system in place is easy to manipulate, and should be changed to also involve calculation for card levels in the active deck, as well as NK level. For reference, I'm level 16, and fairly commonly run into players that are 5 NK levels higher than me, and have level 3 legendaries, level 4 epics, level 4 rares, and level 6 and 7 commons.Originally Posted by TAMISH2-ZN Go to original post
It's also ****ty running into level 13 NKs with similarly leveled cards as the NK 21s. I'm sitting here with level 2 legendaries, level 3 epics, level 4 rares, and only a few level 5 commons. Occasionally I'll overtake someone who has these overleveled cards in my rank, particularly people who are bad at the game and derank for easy wins, but it's tough when I run into a more skilled deranker, or a smurf account at a low NK level that focused on leveling one or two themes without donating to keep their NK level low.
A matchmaking algorithm that takes the units in the active deck into account would make for a far fairer system, and using the friendly fight ratios would be perfect, meaning if you queue for a game with a level 3 legendary in your deck, you can be matched against other players who have level 3 legendaries, level 4 epics, level 5 rares, etc etc. If you've got a level 4 common, you can be matched only against players who have level 1 legendaries, level 2 epics, level 3 rares, etc etc.
As a failsafe, if there are no players found within that system, and THEN within your ELO range within a set period of time, say, maybe 1 minute, then the matchmaker would queue you against someone who is mismatched to keep queue times down to reasonable levels, and would more consistently ensure a fair game.
