So after insisting strongly that tech support read the ticket, they acknowledged that is "may be a glitch" because it is happening with two dissimilar systems, and passed it up to the dev team. Great! Now will not ever hear anything about it again, but the problem will remain....

We appreciate you letting us know that you are frustrated by this issue. To be clear: the initial issue was that the game was setting you to borderless after alt-tabbing twice. Later you provided reproduction steps that implied that the issue is the game changing your setting to borderless after you save and quit. Are both of these the issue or just the latter?

Sorry for the confusion, and I also apologize for venting a bit. Both are the issue. Originally, I noticed that alt-tabbing changed the setting, then later also noted that when save > quit > start the setting changed from fullscreen, as saved, to borderless. Again, this is happening on two dissimilar systems; and it also occurs on a "virgin system" clean install of windows 10, drivers updated, windows updated, but no other non-windows applications/utilities installed other than uPlay and GRW, single monitor, sli disabled etc, grw and uplay on the system drive. The clean system is a restored backup image created to troubleshoot grw and runs on this machine (the one in the submitted msinfo and dxdiag files) Hope this is not even more confusing....

Hey angelHKD25! We appreciate you clarifying for us. Just to confirm, the MSINFO file on the ticket is for the backup image system that GRW DOES work on, correct? If this is the case, we would want the MSINFO files from the system where GRW is not working on. I apologize if I misinterpreted.

The problem persists with both the restored clean system* as well as the system that normally runs on this machine**. I know it is a bit confusing. I use Acronis True Image to restore the clean image to the system ssd, which of course overwrites the "normal" system. It creates the environment that tech support requires, without spending the time to disable this and that, move the install locations, disable SLI. After verifying whether the issue persists, the normal system is restored to the system ssd. (Game performance is much better with the normal system.) I have done it this way, because the first thing a ticket response says is disable this and that, and so forth. Saves a great deal of time.

The second machine this is occurring on, has very little in common with this (main) machine, other than both are windows 10, the video drivers are the same, third party utilities. It meets the minimum requirements with a single GTX 760 card. I have not done the "wipe/clean install/..." on that machine.

Sadly we may have to start a class action lawsuit OP, the game was DOA and has never been fixed. It's illegal to sell it in this state in my territory.
