For Honor would be EVEN BETTER with Arabs/Saracens | Forums

For MONTHS I've dreamed of For Honor adding Arabs into the game.

Then suddenly, Marching Fire's teaser trailer comes and I get BEYOND excited thinking its Arabs but then its....Wu Lin? A Chinese faction?

Whyyyy?!?! Not saying I don't like the Wu Lin (I do) but whyyyy not Saracens?

Literally all my characters I play with, I've for months, tried to make look Arab from my Warden to my Tiandi to even my Conqueror.

It would be an amazing idea too! Just think of all the warrior types the game can have! And they CAN name them anything it doesn't matter! Lawbringer? Conqueror? Warlord? Raider? They just brought these names out of thin air, and they can do so with Saracen ones as well! There's so many choices and a variety they can add too!

So much more can be added, what I posted doesn't have to be all there is or what there is but you get the idea.

It would make sense for the game to timeline wise since its based on the 10th century, to which the Saracens were indeed a thing (so much so that they fought the Crusaders). Many have suggested other factions like ancient Egyptians, ancient Spartans, and as cool as they sound they wouldn't make sense fighting Knights but Saracens would which makes them a perfect choice!

For Honor already has such a massive following in the Arab world, in a lot of games I enter I see people have Arab flags on their emblems from the Algerian flag to the Kuwaiti flag to the Syrian flag to the Saudi flag etc etc. Market wise, it is a good idea to appeal to more international fans.

I have been playing For Honor since it came out, and since DAY ONE, I've wanted this...

Please Ubisoft, make this happen!

Just to add an idea you your awesome list have a Persian immortal type class

They have a really cool aesthetic but they are heavy sword users. Most weapons you posted are swords and daggers. I believe they had a Shugoki like weapon and and they probably have Katars. My suggestion for such a faction is to Include India and Egypt. Kinda like the Romans in the Knights. With the Egyptians you have the Khopesh and Indian have a few more weapons, one being the Urumi which would be one of the most unique weapons if not most impractical weapons in the game. Then you might get 8 heroes. My number 1 wanted faction is Aztecs.

Will be awesome have another faction like saracen or more like the otomans we already have knigths but we need the most beloved enemy of them will be awesome figthing in a arab city protecting it or sigien it man will be like the crusade movie, I like your ideia imagim some even a expansion worth to calling of it with a new history maybe explaing why the knigth ended in ashvalen and wy dont come anymore knigths to ashvalen wen the things began to go bad with the vikings and samurais, why legions there is no king why dont have a king is here figthng agaist other invasion in the ancestral realm of the knigths ( like the otomans / saracens conquest in 700 year, they conquered a good part of europe like spain). and it was a imense invasion man imagim that will be awesom and you put the tension with samurai vikings and now with tha shaolin guys man we have a awesome scene of a boddly an espectacular battlefield.

For honor would be even better if they fixed the mistakes pretty much everyone agrees on instead of releasing things they can sell us first

Can you don't with the fantasy saber and warrior ? There is tens of thousands of good miniature to take inspiration from and you choose ****ty deviantart drawing that took inspiration from each other ? Common man,you can easily do better tha that. Also dont use the terms scimitar please , it as gotten a bad image overtime as this whide cutter. This sword NEVER existed. You will be way better looking for Saif saber if you want a arab(mamluk) ,shamshir if you want a persian(timurid) and kilij if you want a turk(ottoman). Their armor doesnt look right either or too old style. ANd don't hit me with that " it's just a fantasy game who cares", if no one is ever going to talk about late medieval "saracean" armor yet give them late medieval saber like in every movies or tv series , misinformation will continue to spread, not even alking about how they look way better in later times than during the crusades.
