I'm practically crosseyed already from reading some of the stuff you all have written on the subject. XD
As Bone_Frog said...go for the Ryanverse books.

    My Recommendations::

Without Remorse (My personal fav), Clear and Present Danger (It's Ghost Recon Wildlands done right), The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, The Cardinal of The Kremlin (excellent cold war espionage)

Without Remorse is my all time favorite Clancy book. John 'Clark' is a recurring character in al (most)l Clancy books and is essentially the Sam Fisher of Clancyverse. This book explores his origins. Dude's a Vietnam era Navy SEAL (Technically UDT I think) who ultimately joins the CIA as a black ops prodigy. It's a revenge story and the way the protagonist goes about it is very detailed and engaging.

Clear and Present Danger is also IMO a fantastic read...full of excellent covert action. It's what Wildlands tries to be. Think Narcos S1 and S2...but better. It also has one of the most interesting and authentic firefight sequence in any book I've read. Oh and John Clark is present in it.

I highly recommend you grab those ^

Pehaps he takes an exchange posting with an allied foreign military. Not unheard of take a lower rank when serving within an allied foreign service

Should definitely be out of the field test prototype stage. Oh, yeah and can something brand new six years later, be introduced as brand new now?
What you are trying to accuse me of here is what you are in fact doing. You are massaging various facts to fit your tastes. While ignoring others because they are inconvenient to the narrative that you prefer.
    Fixed that for you.
Yeah I prefer to give greater weight to internal consistency and adherence to stated goals.
The Alicia Diaz thing is true. Is not me saying it, it was written like that by the Clancy writers in the canon.
That’s her only military background, you need to get over it.
On everything else, yes Wildlands is part of the timeline, I showed you evidence from it, actually the whole Silent Spade operation has references to what happens with the Russian Ultranationalists and Raven’s Rock in GRFS.

Everything YOU are saying however, no matter how you try to “fix” my statement is all to fit your own fantasy of once again “this doesn’t work like real life so it isn’t part of the timeline” which is incorrect, here I’ll destroy your fantasy:

    1) It’s never mention that the optical camo is a prototype in GRFS, as it is already being use by the Ghosts, in Wildlands it is a prototype, the only Ghost using it at this time is Kozak and it’s still being tested, which is not the case in GRFS, as many Ghosts operatives use it already. As shown in the prequel to GRFS, Ghost Recon Alpha. The optical camo is more advanced in GRFS, as it is a smaller device than the one in field testing in Wildlands.

    2) Bodark is training a member of SB cartel

    3) Los Extranjeros are supply high tech by Bodark.

    4) Russian Ultranationalists and Raven’s Rock info and logo can be found in the kingslayer files on Operation Silent Spade. Raven’s Rock is the main threat on GRFS

    5) Possible future events with the Russian Ultranationalists power control is something that happens in GRFS and is mention by Kozak in Operation Silent Spade
The fact you are using a discrepancy of Mitchells rank to justify your vision of “this is not part of the main line” is stupid. Is what it is a discrepancy (unless they later explain it) it isn’t the first one. There are more facts that support what I said, you are only using the rank thing, which is not a good argument because as I said, it may be an oversight. EndWar doesn’t play any role in here either, as that is officially non-canon.

I’ll finish here, as you are going to still live in your fantasy world instead of accepting reality, we are never going to stop this argument so to not waste each other time, I’ll stop here.

But for everyone else that may have doubts about the timeline, feel free to ask but the canon Ghost Recon games with their expansions go in the following timeline order: (not including novels and short movies)

Ghost Recon 2 First Assault (2007)
    Ghost Recon (2008)
    Desert Siege (2009)
    Island Thunder (2010)
    Jungle Storm (2010)
Ghost Recon 2 Final Assault (2011)
Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike (2012)
    Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (2013)
    Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (2014)
    Ghost Recon Wildlands (2019)
    Fallen Ghosts (2019)
    Ghost Recon Future Soldier (2024)

Actually you refuse to believe any evidence given you. I have shown you, from the GR Wikia that what you are saying about Alicia Diaz is 1) Wrong and 2) that her recruitment was within regs. Once more, it is not me saying that Alicia diaz had an MOS, just not a Combat MOS, it is the GR Wikia. Once more with the link so you can read it for yourself:

Actually this sums up your statements fairly well, and I don't see a point in continuing this conversation with you further as you refuse to accept documented facts:

Yeah Without Remorse was really good, though it had a bit of a revenge porn feel. Clear and Present Danger honestly pretty much sums up what Seal Team 4 has been doing since it was created in 1983.
Red Storm Rising though not Ryanverse, is really interesting in the sense of it being a fairly accurate(when it was written) of what a Cold War era World War would have looked like. Quite thrilling really.

Yep...and I loved it. It was unabashedly righteous.

Genuinely did not know that. Most of what I've read on Navy SEALs is Vietnam era stuff and on their activities in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Thrilling indeed. Encompassed Land, Naval and Air warfare really well. I was surprised at how well he managed to keep the plot coherent since the reader was bouncing all across the globe with so many different characters.

Yeah each of the teams has a specific geographic responsibility. Team 4 was specifically assigned South and Central America. The most famous mission is when they raided one of Escobar's places. Though in general, a lot of what they do is involving cartels. Now with a war on, yeah they also get deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, however, they still get to go south and play with the cartels too. The separate regions helps with focusing training, especially language skils.

The Campus series, is also pretty good. Still in the Ryanverse, with a slight retcon to include 9/11. The first one Teeth of the Tiger, you would probably like if you liked Without Remorse. The rest kinda follow along the same path. What I liked most about them though, is that script immunity was no longer a thing. Main characters died. Made it a bit more thrilling.

    1. Thank you for accepting you have 0 arguments that say Wildlands is a different Ghost Recon timeline.
    2. Since when Alicia Diaz was part of this conversation again? And it’s funny because the link you provided says what I said about her:

If you recall the post named Special Operation 3: Future Soldier
    This is what I said:
Some people would give you a long list of stuff he needs to do before joining a special forces team. What these people do not understand is that the Ghost’s do not work by military policy as they are a unique unit so thinking there is a progress like in real life is just non-sense. Alicia Diaz for example wasn’t allowed by the army to serve in any military occupational specialty so the Ghost’s recruited her because of her background as a sniper and then again they do not follow policy.

    And then you said:
Sorry mate but everyone in the Army has an MOS, everyone. I don't care if all you do is break big rocks into smaller rocks(12G) you have an MOS. The only way that you would not have an MOS is if you are stationed as a resident of the USDB.

    https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.ph...-Soldier/page5

But the link you provided destroys you:
    Military
Alicia Diaz joined the Army, but Army policy did not allow her to serve in any combat MOS (military occupational specialty), including special operations. However, The Ghosts did not have to follow the Army's policy given the unique nature of the unit, and the unit recruited Diaz given her background as a world class long distance shooter. Diaz joined the Ghosts and serves in the sniper section within the unit, and is assigned to Captain Scott Mitchell's Alpha Team.

How this makes me wrong again?

Anyway. Thanks for proving me right, I guess.
Now to Wildlands taken place in the same timeline as any GR game:

This is a kingslayer found in Operation Silent Spade, you know Raven’s Rock or a extremist faction as they called them in Wildlands?

Guess who also shows up on GRFS?

    Raven’s Rock again!!!
Except that on Wildlands they still do not know how they are called, it's later found out in GRFS also Raven’s Rock as an affiliation with Bodark (main enemy faction from GRFS)

So yeah, Wildlands is part of the timeline. This whole Operation shows the before events of GRFS.

This proves there are two possibilities to Captain Mitchell rank:
    !) He got demoted
    2) Is just a mistake from the writers (this is more possible)

Personally I don’t have anything against you, but when you are wrong you have to deal with it, like an adult. You are just saying what you want because it fits your tastes, you want to believe every tech present in GRFS or previous games didn’t happen but this operation proves you wrong.

This is where I stopped reading. The link actually says the opposite of what you keep claiming. So again you are denying written facts to suit your needs. Here I'll quote it a link it again.

    http://ghostrecon.wikia.com/wiki/Alicia_Diaz

I suggest you read things more carefully in the future, because you are making huge assumptions on what you think you've read, while missing key details. The key detail here is the word "combat". It never said she didn't have an MOS, as that is literally an impossibility. It said she didn't have a combat MOS.

FYI: MOS is a job. If you don't have an MOS you would do nothing, literally nothing. From the first day you show up at boot camp you get an MOS(00x). Without it, you don't pass through the gates to enter Basic.

Now a combat MOS is a bit different. That means that your career is one that will put you directly in harms way. Like I've explained already until 2016 women generally were not allowed a combat MOS, the exceptions being CAG and Devgru.

You can continue to argue all you want that she didn't have any MOS whatsoever. However, when you do that, please know that anyone who has ever served is going to take you a lot less seriously when you do. Also please know that, what you are saying, is not what is written. If you cannot read objective facts and admit that you were wrong, there is simply no point in engaging you further.

Honest question: Is English your first language? From some of your consistent grammatical mistakes it would appear not and that may explain some of your difficulty in understanding what is written.

TLDR or English is difficult for you: As I've tried to explain many times MOS=/=combat MOS.
