Shinobi can be a bit of a spam at times. Mostly due to a slight lack of versatility in the pocket. This forces most players to play on the outside, just trying to land a kick and gain some momentum. Here are my requests to give him a bit of a rework, and make him more enjoyable for both sides.
1. A single dodge light attack. (Don't have it do much damage, possibly 10) This would be great for lower level players, while also being an effective move for the top tiers.
2. If, and only if, a Shinobi lands a leaping heavy, the follow up heavy could be unblockable. (This provides good mix-ups in the pocket) When landing, the player should hook the Kuri-Sama into the shoulder blade of the opponent, and flip over them. Make the animation have a pretty high recovery time, so opponents can take some free damage. Also, make it to where the player cannot follow up.
3. Allow the zone attack to be feinted. Most other assassin characters have a very powerful zone attack. Don't have it do much damage, but allow it to have mix-up potential.
4. And this one is a bit of a stretch, but consider giving the Shinobi a 10 health boost.
I understand that the Shinobi isn't a high priority, but these are possible for the future. It would be amazing if you could give me some feedback. Also, let me know if you guys would like more suggestions down the line. I love this game, and hope for a bright future.
