Been playing in Legendary for several months now. I just have to ask. What is the deal with the locker loot? What I'm mainly talking about is the loot in the three "prime" lockers. While sometimes they will be pretty decent. Being either a large number of PVP tickers. Maybe a X5 or more Mat card. There are many times that the three "prime" lockers will have a single Mat card, or a tiny amount of PVP cards. It's really no wonder why people don't want to play in the Legendary arena with rewards like those being offered. I just feel like I've been slapped in my face with a pathetic reward when I finally get a win after getting stomped in the junk by a bunch of level 20+ people with Level 6+ cards. As I'm only level 15 with Level 4 and 5 cards. I just think it's such a sad excuse for a Legendary reward to be a single Mat card. Heck, even a single Common card is questionable "prime" Legendary locker loot.
Yeah, it's pretty weak, and it drives much of the deranking. When the rewards are so minimal and they don't scale with rank inside legendary, there's no point playing near the top unless you're up for a challenge. Rewards that scale with legendary rank seem like an obvious solution, but none of the comments here or on reddit for this suggestion have ever gotten a response, so I can only assume it doesn't match with the business model redlynx is driving.
They should have 3 "tiers" within Legendary, with Tier 1 having the best rewards in lockers (rank 1-5000), followed by Tier 2 (5001-10000), and lastly Tier 3 (10001 and under). This is the exact reason why so many people prefer deranking since the lockers rewards are ****. They said they improved them but it's still not enough, I mean, what's the point on getting 3 common cards when you need 1,000? or 1 rare card when you need 200 or 600 of them?
