Spotted with optical camo between 25-32m
Spotted w/o optical camo between 25-34m

Same Santa Blanca guard, Daylight, same area, crouching not standing.

The description when you unlock it says it makes it harder for you to be detected. Any UBI DEVs wanna help out with why it doesnt appear to be making it harder for me to be detected?

It is true! I Thought it would be cool to have the optic camo..... But never the less it is only cosmetic!! It is as useless as the ghillie suits. In Future Solider it was the real thing. It worked in that game. They hyped it up and then led us to failure. Thanks Ubisoft.

not to mention the fact it only works on your character not for your ai. but i digress it looks good with the predator helmet and wristblades

In order for it to work properly be sure that they're not looking in your direction, or that you're well hidden behind a wall or building.

So, this optical Camo should give a better camouflage properties from what the announcement said

I equipped as soon as I got it. And fro. What I seen, as I test it right away, I don't see any boost to stealth. What you guys saying about it. What are your opinions?

There’s a very slight minimal boost from what I’ve see...


But yeah, there’s almost no difference. Which currently makes it largely redundant.
