I was really excited when I heard about the optic camouflage, but immediately realized upon playing it serves no actual purpose. Enemies can see you like normal. Why add these things if they are not going to actually work? Big let down ubisoft, going back to red dead.
To be honest it AI detection is massively turned down to begin with. It's only after a hunted alert status that AI detection does a polar opposite and the AI turns in to muderbots capable of sniping you with an uzi from 120 meters.
The lack of I intial detection has kind of always bugged me so I have always made my character Ghillie up in an attempt to justify the lack of detection in a non alert status. Now I guess I'm using active camo
I've always overlooked the apparent over sight when it came to camo, I mean why have it if an enemy can spot you a hundred feet away in the dark? Oh and once you are noticed there's no way you're getting away easily. I know that camo is programmed to work, look at the DLC. They have optic camouflage which requires the player to switch to thermal vision.
Make camouflage actually work, and maybe introduce a new type of trooper that has goggles. Add a new helicopter that has infrared capabilities.
There's ways you can fix this game, I just don't know if it'd be too late.
Nope. It’s like holding your breath and hoping no one can see you, but everyone sees you.Originally Posted by VirtualRain. Go to original post
