I think that was a fake but I am not sure.....
It is not really shocking what they have done though. They have lied to us since the first E3 it was shown at....2014 i think. Some of the things from the future plans they did give us for free though. I am always going to remember the handling of this game though. I am not really an Ubi fan to start with, but I will be sure to avoid any new games without a proven value. Massive is on thin ice, if the Div 2 is not buffed and polished I doubt I will touch anything they every make again. Not saying I am getting the preorder and taking another chance la de da. I will be watchful and decide if i should get it or avoid it come review time.
It would have been nice to finally have a bridge battle, explore central park, fight through a skyscraper, or get new skills like the game promo hinted at.... Oh well it is the Division, IT JUST WORKS NOW!
There is so much potential still in the game despite the problems and ways that many of the issues could be recognised as such and mitigated by developer approach even if there are some fundamental issues that maybe make it inefficient for significant new content on top of what already exists. Personally I'd happily pay to see the potential of the game built on.
There is so much that could be done with survival to cater to different tastes, skill level and approach including it would be nice to see the drone feature used in combination with teamplay in a survival mode as well as different survival themes that focussed on different areas of the existing map some with and some without overall objective timers, etc.
Much more dynamic content could be done within the lightzone itself as well with mini events and smaller mission arcs that reused parts of the existing map in the style of times square power relay, etc.
The Division 1 had more potential than any game I've ever played.Originally Posted by Rroff Go to original post
But didn't get the care it needed nor the correct type of content imo.
It felt like a game that was confused about what it wanted to be.
I agree Rush. They could have kept doing DLC's with the existing map and kept it going for a while. I will say the biggest disappointment for the game was with the announcement of "monthly Global Events". Who know that it was going to be the same ones done over and over and over.
We were just talking last night how right before TD2 launch, they should run GE's back to back to back. The creme de la creme the week before TD2 release, run ALL the GE's simultaneously. Could you imagine that?!?!?!
