No, it's really not, they're not specific in the slightest and Satan is incredibly weak, his only good thing is the nuke damage he does when you summon him.
You want more counters to Satan?
    Unholy Combustion
    Transmogrify
    Côck Magic
    Dogpoo, even on his own
Inuit Kenny, even on his own
Terrence and Phillip, even on their own
1 Tank and 1 Assassin of any theme
1 Fighter and 1 Assassin of any theme
    2 fighters of any theme
Don't play a ****load of cards at once and just save your energy LIKE YOU ALREADY SHOULD BE.

TEN separate viable counters to Satan, 6 of which are not even theme specific, and can be done by just about ANY deck, so long as you're not dumb enough to build a deck filled with nothing but assassins ranged or swarms.

His warcry range is incredible big, that should be slightly smaller and that would be already a lot better in my opinion.

Exactly, that's pretty much all I'm asking for. It's impossible to know if your opponent has Satan, so I might be setting something up only to have it instantly ruined by his stupid warcry. Just make his warcry smaller and weaker. I know he's a legendary, but at level one he should not be taking out everyone who are three or four levels higher than him in one attack. Including other legendaries.

    He doesn't, a level 1 Satan does 225 damage with his warcry, wether he's base level 1, or 5/5 level 1, it's still 225.
Stan of Many Moons has 272 HP at base level 1, and 292 at 5/5. Stan of Many Moons also costs 4 energy, and at 5/5, his ability does 236 damage, dealing more than Satan.

Mecha Timmy has 250-268 HP for base and 5/5 respectively.
Sixth element Randy has 500 base HP
Witch Doctor Token has 370 base HP
Master Ninjew has 280 base HP
Medusa Bebe has 350 base HP
Grand Wizard Cartman has 1026 base HP
Sheildmaiden Wendy has 288 base HP

The only legendaries units that will die in one hit from Satan are Incan Craig, Inuit Kenny, (great counter btw), and Mr. Hankey, the rest all survive the nuke.

As for lower-rarity units that survive the blast, ALL FIGHTERS OF SIMILARLY SCALED LEVEL SURVIVE.
All level 2 Epic fighters (except flyers like Imp Tweek and Alien Drone) survive.
All level 3 Rares fighters survive.
All level 4 Common Fighters survive.

Some ranged units survive, but not many, and nonlt a single assassin survives the blast.

As for trying to "Set something up", don't, unless you know they don't have satan, or unless you know your cards will survive. Play a tank or two, some higher HP fighters, and wait for Satan. If they play Satan, an assassin or two will handle him quickly. If not, you've got a strong frontline wave you can play with.

Satan is a rebound card, so if you've got a huge wave building up, expect him. You have to learn to adapt and adjust your playstyle to handle the potential threat, and just because your every day cookie cutter methods of dealing with other players don't work anymore, doesn't mean he needs to be throttled back and nerfed to the point where your strategy works again.

    Adapt and overcome.

As for his AoE size, stop sending units down the middle, spread your units out. Play them staggered too, don't just dump a bunch of units on the feild because you can, play slowly and thoughtfully, and you'll find that Satan really isn't all he is cracked up to be.

You really aren't convincing anyone. His warcry still needs to be nerfed. Keep all his other stats the same for all I care but his warcry needs to be smaller and weaker.

Or at least slower, so he could be removed before that for good.

What rank are you in the creek? I mean, when he first came out and people used lvl 1 Satan, I'd have him attack a tank and kill him easily with assassins. Plus, he never killed all my guys. Wasn't baggin on ya.

Mitch, I've seen lvl 3 Satans quite a few times already, lvl 2 is just common. I'm in the 2000s as well.
