Far Cry New Dawn: Am I going to be kidnapped over and over?

Is my gameplay going to be interrupted by kidnappings and forced story progressions ala Far Cry 5?

Developers, it should be explained somehow, in the game, why environment is so colorful, why all these bright colors! People start laughing today at this "pinky Far Cry postapocalypse". It has to be somehow justified! Why such anomaly? Ozone layer? Air? Mutation of photosynthesis? Or something else. Many years has gone after explosions.....nature is recovering......but not the same as it was before. Game is called "New Dawn", it means new Life, one more Chance. Post postapocalypse. Resurrection. New Breath. Not exactly postapocalypse but the birth of a new civilization. Good time for Far Cry universe. Universe full of life.

By the way, when I was experimenting with Fallout mods.....(I've tried hundreds of them. Different types. Merged them. Game weighed more than 200gb in the end.) There was one mod that I liked very much. It was called "Resurrection". Full of green, devouring all around. And changing the atmoshere of the game without spoiling the game. Unfortunately, the mod dropped fps badly. In some areas was just impossible to play. But idea itself was very good. This part of time, of postapocalypse.....when everything start blooming. But blooming rapidly, and even somehow aggressively. As irritation of nature. Its revenge.

This very question is why I will not be acquiring the game on day one. I'm going to watch some game play, as well as reviews, then decide if it's even worth purchasing depending on what you might be forced to do by how it's been designed.

I actually thought it was an interesting game mechanic and didn't spoil my enjoyment at all.

So what if you get taken? You can go right back to whatever you were doing afterwards. Don't see what all the crying is about tbh. The kidnappings are some of the most interesting and fun story missions in the game.

Kidnapped once: fine. Kidnapped twice: passable, but cringe-worthy. Kidnapped all the time: lazy writing. Especially, if the player is kidnapped from impossible places (shot with a bliss arrow while flying in a helicopter or sitting in a closed room). Unfortunately I cannot set my standards low enough to enjoy such plot holes. Getting captured can be done in a smart way, and the way it was done in FC5.

I can confirm that progression system will not be returning for New Dawn. No kidnapping.

like a lot of posts i will wait till next year to see what real gameplay is ,prebought farcry5 ,but if you look at many post,s the biggest complaint is capture missions ,i,m an old gamer not as dexterous as some ,so get in never ending loop in these capture scenes so have given up game will not be spending my money on deeply flawed games as this.
