    A few early concerns.....

    Ubisoft ........?

What is going on with you?

Are you now using level gating in all your games???

Not every game has to be an RPG, not every game has to have levelled enemies! And bullet sponge enemies!
Not every game has to do that.

I do wonder whether this is how you plan to introduce micro transactions more and more to single player games. This is becoming a concerning trend.

Re MTs, I'm not actually so worried. So far, Ubisoft has been really reasonable, with microtransactions you don't need at all. Odyssey was the first game from Ubisoft where I bought MTs, and I only bought it as a kind of "thank you" to Ubisoft, since I was so impressed with the scale of Odyssey. But in all the games, the best stuff is always (in my opinion) what you get through natural gameplay. Certainly that could change, but so far, I think Ubisoft has done a great job at making microtransactions completely and comfortably optional.

Didn't you PAY for the game? Ubisoft titles are not cheap. By buying it you already gave Ubi plenty of your thank you's.

We pay a lot for the games. Then we pay even more for gold/season pass/DLC etc. FC5 sold over 2.5 million copies in less than it's first week. So Ubisoft are already laughing their fat asses all the way to the bank. And that's BEFORE people pay even more for in-game transactions.

Thank you Ubisoft? More like F you.

I love the FC series, but this trend for in-game transactions needs to DIE.

Not a fan of Mts either (when I get to be Dictator of the World---there won't be any!). FCND is not a full price game however. Here's a link to more FCND info--as much as I criticize Ubi and their **** plot lines, and implementations, they have made a couple changes for the better (from FC5) in FCND. Sssoooo-----+1 to them!

Knife take downs are back!!! I was getting really tired of lugging my Ho-----------------------------eeeeerrrrrr I mean hoe around with me everywhere. And, the goofy weapon paint schemes might actually fit in better with this plot line (remains to be seen).

Oh wait! The basic plot is Hope (as in very rural agricultural county is the victim of multiple nuclear strikes, as apparently the NORKs don't like pine trees, rural Montana people with Alabama/Canadian accents, and aggressive turkeys------------oh yea, and the Testy Fest). OK, OK, OK-------------never mind about the plot being any better!

Not full price? Are you kidding me? New Dawn is £46.99 on steam for (so called) "deluxe".

How is that not full priced?

I mean considering that this is a spin-off sequel, and not a main entry for the series, I would say it's pretty damn A+ in terms of price.

I bought it when I saw Athens. I know of AAA games that cost the same as Odyssey whose whole map was the size of Athens. Odyssey is HUGE.

I love Odyssey, but am giving it s bit of a break. It does feel like you are running around doing the same thing over and over, it does get a bit repetitive.

    Here’s worth a buys impression -

I agree with him about all the pink — what’s that about??

I do not have any concersn because / or if ...

    • World Map will be big enough, plus exttra exploration levels as announced
    • Combat will be more diversified than in FC5. I agree Assassins creed Orogins & Odyssey are lil too repetitive, but FC 5 was really okay.
    • Storyline is as cool as in FC5 or at least has super coll and dirty post apocalyptig dialogues.
    • Enemy KI is just as cool as in FC5
    • Progession for Character is just as fun as in FC5
    • COOP works for complete Story as in FC5

So in total, i was so satisfied with FC5, that if they do not throw out cool features from this game AND bringing in some new cool stuff, i will be satisfied by 110%.
And I do not care about getting some extra stuff via microstransactions, as long as I get a fully playable cool game experience by paying a full price AAA title.
Poeple who have enough money to purchase their super ink luxury weapon can do that for real cash, if they feel better with that. As long as the result is, that Ubisolft makes even better and better games each generation! Perfect for me!

These features from FC 5 should not be thrown aboard:

    • Enemy NPCs taking hostages
    • Enemy NPCs torturing farmers
    • Enemy NPCs driving around with imprisoned friendly NPCs.

and if Ubisoft manages it to bring in random encounter events with their own lil quest behind it like those in Red Dead Redemption 2 ... well, that Ubisoft has all the ingredients for further AAA titles,

As I said, I have no big concers about Far Cry New Dawn from what I have seen so far.
