Was really pleased to be able to unlock the GRFS pack for the costume. Was mildly disappointed the first time I used a melee takedown. Of course I’d forgotten this would mean no Karambit since they are tied to the gloves.
So how about a new weapon category for CQC? Much like we have the crossbow category.
We could select from empty hand, Karambit, FG, Caviera (I know, unlikely) and anything else they want to add.
Personally, I’d also like an option where a knife takedown could only be performed with all other weapons stowed. (If anyone played Conflict: Desert Storm they’ll know what I mean, but that’s a different point.)
Be neat if you coulld toggle lethal & non-lethal CQC like in Splinter Cell Blacklist.
Maybe lethal would be instant, but louder than non-lethal, whereas non-lethal CQC from behind would allow you to move the body, and face-to-face wouldn’t take them down but maybe disarm their main weapon ot something.
Something like this would be good. I doubt we’ll see a full overhaul in this game but hopefully it’ll at least be kept in mind for the next.Originally Posted by RedCeII Go to original post

Ps. You know the knife takedowns are different depending on which weapon you holding or if you have your weapons holstered...
