I suppose this will fit the profile "feedback" of a returning player.

I haven't touched the game for several month, been extremely busy. The commercial of a new expansion showed up a few times, but I decided to get into it when I actually have the time to play. So, after several month, the moment has finally come. I downloaded whatever was needed, set down and... there comes the trailer... where I finally see the face of my favorite character, right before she's slaughtered by a giant chinese sword (at least that's what the trailer suggests).

Alright, depressing but we're marching on, right? Then I read "WE HEARD YOU AND NOW YOUR STATS ARE TURNED TO PERKS!" Putting aside my personal dislike of a word "perk", I'm thinking "I need to see it before I jump to conclusions" and then I saw it...
So, there is no sharpness to the blade no density to armor, just 2 freakin perks to each piece and if you want to know what those perks are, you need to go to another window... Would it guys kill you to have a small roll over explanation on those things?

After a failed attempt to find a general stat view of my character, or anything that would make sense, I've decided to take a closer look at that expansion, thinking " they've had a great campaign, a new chapter in the story might brighten my evening, I'll get used to the stupid perk thing eventually...." Well, there is a new solo content but as I understood (please do correct me if I'm wrong, I beg of you) it has nothing to do with the story, just random fighting in a new way...

It's not easy to ruin my mood, only when something great or beautiful is being broken can really get to me and you guys managed it. The game was a masterpiece, it still is in many ways, but it's lacking a vital part - consistency.
It was clear from the beginning that "For Honor" is not lore orientated, but you guys understood that without a story behind the fight you won't have the foundation and you created short but very solid campaign which served as lore and training. Perfect. And now you've built another wonderful (I'm sure) thing (expansion), which is so freakin random... Is that the grand plan? Just add new random factions to the mix?

Before the perks, it felt real, now it feels like a joke/perk/joke/giggle... Perfection lies in simplicity, the less navigations the better. If I go to my character's window, I want everything that has anything to do with my character right on the table and under my palm. I want to look and see, not search and then go somewhere else to see what is it I've found, forgetting what the hell I was planning on doing in the first place, it's ridiculous...

Well, I'll check the game in another few month, perhaps then I won't even recognise it. Then I'll decide whether to treat it as an entirely new game or just forget all about it.
