Just wondering when the contents of the various Crates is determined.
When you get, say, a Spec Ops crate, are the three items determined at the time you obtain the crate, and will never change even if you opennat a later time? Or are the three items determined at the time you open the crate?
Same question for Ghost Crates and Prestige Crates.
I’m sitting ontop of about seven Prestige Crates and a Spec Ops Crate once they’re all opened, but I’m wondering if I should just open them now, or wait until next Tuesday to have a chance at some of these new items.
Any insight into this? I know that, for instance, in Injustice 2, the contents of your loot crates are determined at the time you obtain them, and opening them later on won’t change what you get or what level it is, so I’m curious about how this game works, and whether the “economy system change” next week impacts anything or not.
Any info would be much appreciated!
I would wait until tuesday then all the new stuff will be addedOriginally Posted by RedCeII Go to original post
Unless you wanted to get one of the previous items, in which case, if you wait, the result will be a lower probability.Originally Posted by MichaelS1211 Go to original post
I can't say for certain, Red, and you're not going to get an official statement, however, given that the loot pools and respective item stacked probabilities are coded and subject to change, it follows that the results are determined when the crate is opened and not when it was obtained.Originally Posted by RedCeII Go to original post
If there are any items that you were hoping to get from the existing crates' pools, I would open those respective crates now, especially if you are confident in your ability to get more crates in the future. If you want to gamble that the new items will be of greater value to you than the existing remaining items and/or lack confidence in your ability to get more crates in the future, then wait until after the update.
With respect to Prestige Crates, if your goal is to obtain:
- Outstanding items available in both Prestige Crates and Battle Crates... ALWAYS open all of your Prestige Crates BEFORE your Battle Crates. Battle Crates definitively reduce the respective item pool by three items per crate, and therefore increase the probability that Prestige Crates will result in a duplicate and subsequently award Battle Credits.
- Battle Credits towards a specific store pack... apply the reverse of the above (1.).
