    Quit Penalty S**T

Now I quit playing this game because of this decision to bring back the quit Penalty!

Yes, I quit sometimes. I must wait 3-4min to get into a Game. I dont want to quit in the beginning because of this.
When I see, my Team is much weaker in the Levelscore, I want to quit, but I give this fight a Chance, perhaps it would be a great and funny match. But sometimes the opponents make me frustrating because of their high rank playstyle or/and my teammates are weak, die quickly and 4 HR Opponents hit me from all sides.

When I quit before, I must wait another 3-4min to get into a new game. When I see the match is only frustrating after give it a Chance, I get a 15min ban!
Thats not fair!! I pay for this game to Play when I want, and not after a ban!!!

So please stop this fu***** quit Penalty...……..

    Sorry about my english

Yay, another ego thinking only about himself is gone :3

Na, not really, because actually I do care about the community and would wish for it to stay strong for some time still. However, if there is really that one match that is sooo gruesome, maybe just quit and go for a real break and come back when you are in a better state. Cuz, you know what, thats what fighters are. You got your fun games, that's usually when you win. You got those games you didn't think they will be fun unless in the end you unexpectedly win. You got those you seem to like until you curse'em when you suddenly loose.
However, to some players, it's easier. You got those games with cool fights in it you loose and still get a lot of exp. And the even better ones where victory comes as well. Rarely, very rarely, do I have a game that feels totally unbalanced.

I mean is it really your allies alone that fail? Are you trying to fight strategic? Are you trying to think before you act? Or do you only start realizing that you should stop running into the healing zone, aiding your team that's still getting slaughtered there and better be going getting the ramparts?

And when you get jumped, what is it you try to do? Kill this guy thats so incredible strong so you get your revenge on him? Have you thought about staying alive, pinging, waiting for help to arrive? Or, in case your team is dead or occupied, you just try to prolong the fight, even if its 4 opponents, even if its on console, if you are smart about it (and a little lucky), you can survive for quiet some time.

Thats pretty much what I do play for. Specially those outmatched moments when I somewhow manage to defend myself until help arrives. Buying time can be as indespensable as going for the right objective in the right time or just drawing attention away from a flag that might make it to your ram.

In the end, though I would prefer reward for staying more then penalties for quitting, I do believe a penalty is better then no penalty as long as no other measures are taken. Because if you can't stand to loose, this kind of game isn't for you.

    Sorry, ABSOLUTELY WRONG!!
I dont quit if I loose. I never had written this!! I only quit, when game isnīt fun, negative stress and only unfair frustrating.

You donīt understand what I mean, but I donīt have the nerve and my english isnīt sooo good to explain it 100% - Read the comments from Siegfried-Z, in another post here:
    "15min quit Penalty?? HaHa!"

    This are a good examples.

And (another example): Donīt forget, that there are also some cheaters. If you play against them, and you like to leave, you get a 15min ban….. Wow!!

In a game of this style in my mind no quitting is valid for any reason.

In the case of a cheater record the match and post video (very easy to do on ps4 or xbox) or just report on pc. Quitting without reporting the cheater only enables them to continue.

I do think the quit penalty is a bit too severe. But i absolutely think it should stay.
    5 minutes for duel/brawl
8 minutes for skirmish, dominion, tribute, elim
    10 minutes for breach.

You really do screw over other people everytime you leave a 4v4 match, regardless of how onesided it is.

People have to learn to enjoy the challenge... and enjoy matches that they lose.

    Hey folks,

The duration of the Quit Penalty is definitely something that we can look at. It's unlikely that it'll be removed however, as we put it back in due to the significant increase in players leaving games and bots appearing in games.

Even if the enemy team is frustrating to play against, quitting the game puts your teammates at a disadvantage, who may want to play the match out.

You only make points for keeping the quit penalty with all your incoherent ranting...good English or bad English.

Well, I am a little bit sad that Ubi seems to prefer punish instead of reward, but maybe (maybe) that's the better route to go. Dunno, today's solutions favor rewards more then punishes and I honestly believe this should be the same case in a game. However, due to the kind and community of the game, only loosing some rewards (what itself can be seen as a punishment) might not really be realized. So the punish is the only option ..?

By the way, I am not a native English speaker either, and at times, specially on a mobile keyboard, my writing is horrific! - not in a good way :3
And, @ OP - even if we voice opinions that might differ from your's, I guess it's not that we can't understand you. But for those of us that cope with hard matches, the people abandoning us are of course seen in another light then those that try to see things through, together. Anyway, maybe, at some point, you might get our mentality and possibly adapt it yourself. Might help with enjoying this kind of games

    ONCE AGAIN!
Í donīt leave because I loose! I would only leave, if the game is an unfair frustrating match who donīt make fun and I want watch out for a more fair fight.

I must wait 3-4 minutes for a match! Iīm in low Level, but I often come in matches against Reputation 200+ Groups.
When I leave in the beginning, I must wait another 3-4minutes and perhaps get into a Reputation 200+ Match again.
Should I always quit in the begin? And must wait 10-15min to get into a regular fair match??
I SAY NO!! I am fair that I give this match a Chance. Perhaps it makes fun and I/we loose, but we have good fights! I never left the match. But when I see in the first 2minutes that we only get hacked and slayed and get unrespectfull gestics from the opponents?, What shall I do? Lay back the Controller and wait if the game is over? Is it this what you want???

@Vendelkin - Sure I report a cheater. But what is it worth in this fight in this moment? You didint have any Chance, you are only frustrated and Angry, but you are not allowed to quit………….

But Frank, thats exactly what we talk about. Only that you say its unfair. We say it seems a loosing match for you. You say its frustrating. But, specially as a newer player, you are going to loose more games then you win. And now, if you wait to be carried and maybe luckily win because your allies are stronger then your opponents, it will only carry you into a skill bracked you actually don't want to get into yet. Ever thought about how quitting might actually worsen your experience more and more, the more you quit? Its not a loss for you. It has no effect on MMR. Its just a quit. Maybe you keep a good w/l ratio, but that only makes balanced future games more unlikely.

In comparision, I tell you what I dislike on games from "i don't like to "i hate":
    - Allies shooting me with a ballista just for the fun of it. Ultra-ultra-rare
    - Allies constantly hitting me because they are angry due to .. possibly thinking I "stole" a kill or the like, dunno.
    - Laggy games. Those I hate. When I get with people that got pings beyond 200 and the whole games stumbles, freezes up at points and randomly kicks players. Those games are ****ty experiences. Sadly, those do happen at times. Like one of 50.

When it comes to cheaters, I have yet to encounter one. People have raged about me being a cheater myself for pulling of parriers they didn't expect. People at times seem to love calling others cheaters. I've even been told to have been reported several times. But I am just a normal skilled console player, sitting at diamond in duel, so really, nothing special there. Tons of better players out there.
So all those "insanely strong, cheaterlike opponents" might actually really outclass you still. But it will never change as long as you run away from the challenge even before even giving it a try. Or letting your MMR adjust by just playing those games the game throws at you.

And almost last: People can get reputation by botgames. So .. reputation only tells you about how much time has been spend on this account in game.

Now really last: I am often playing with low reputation players those days. Friends of mine from other games that do enjoy this years For Honor quiet a lot. No one told me matchmaking has been bad. They struggle a bit more at times when I am with them because I guess our overall skill level gets slightly pushed because of me, but they hardly ever feel they can't defeat some specific opponents. So I really do believe its you already giving in about the possibility of a bad prospect signified by a potentially stronger team just because some numbers telling you they play longer?

    Like Really?

If you asked me what I want - though I don't know you - I'd only say enjoy the challenge. If you get hacked and slayed, you missed a block or a parry or a dodge. All your fault. Improve. Defeat them all. Even if its only one freakin time in a 15 minute game where they killed you 20 times. This time you destroyed them all by yourself - or even only 2 or 3 - will mark a special occasion you can build upon. Because - though its hard - you can deal with almost anything in this game. Even on console. And once you get this, you might stop thinking about high reputation levels. You might start thinking about how to enjoy the challenge, how to improve even more and learn from your opponents.

This discussion goes round and round and brings nothing. My opinion is another than yours.

A game should make fun. A fight should make fun. When it is much unfair and frustrating it isnīt fun. So a Player should have the Chance to make his own decision to stop such Moments. Loosing is NOT the Point for quit the fight!! That doesnīt matter, if other Team mates are good or high rank and we win the fight.
What is the Problem to bring back the leaving button without ban? Or 5min ban?

You think it is unfair to leave? No! Itīs much more unfair to Play with Reputation 0 against Reputation 200+

Your Friends told you their matchmaking wasnīt bad?? Oh - you should read discussions about this in Steam for example. And I have Eyes! And I see that I am often in fights against high rank Players.
    I also get into a group with 2 other Reputation 0 Players, against 2-3 Rep 10+ Players...……...
