My feelings after Console to PC transition

I've made a previous thread where some of you guys advice me for a laptop and thanks again everyone for that.

To recap, i've got an Asus ROG Hero 2 with : 144hz ips 15,6" screen / I7 6 cores Processor / Nvidia GTX 1060 Graph card.

For the one who says don't get a laptop, well, it runs FH without any lag and it does it very well. I've played yesterday in Extreme settings (graph) between 105 to 135 FPS Average. Max i've got is 145 FPS so far. I just reach it with my GTX special configuration.

That, combined with wired connexion and wired controller, is amazing.

I can tell you this makes a big difference. It was very late for me yesterday when i finished all my parameters etc but i've done one dominion to feel how it goes and i've done things i've never ever except by luck done before on console even with my PS4 Pro on 4K screen such as parry Warden and Orochi zone and block Roch 2nd light without any problems.

    It feels fantastic

    I'm gonna focus PC i gess ^^

All these rants about light spam don't really apply on a decent PC.

    Have fun ^^

    Yep exactly.

I say that because lot of people say the difference between both platforms is very small. But, not at all. This is a huge difference. Or maybe this is just because of my 137 reps on console that things looks so smooth on PC ^^

Congrats on the new computer, and I very much hope you like it enough to stick around.

On the difference between PC and console, as one who's recently started playing the latter a bit more again, the differences are pretty minor. However, as theold proverb says, the devil is in the details. With smoother animations and a tiny advantage when it comes to input the whole experience shifts and becomes a different beast entirely. Objectively a small difference, but experience-wise huge. The the objective difference is small was proved by that PC-player not long ago who won a console-tournament.

Please keep posting about your experiences. I don't think I've seen a thread like this in a long time and it would be interesting to see what else you find out.
See you on the battlefield, where I will crush your spine into dust for the glory of the Sontaran empire.

    Thanks man !

Objectivly yes the difference is not that big, but like you said, this tiny gap can sometimes change a lot the gaming experience. TBH i'm gonna focus PC i think and only keep going on console for playing with my best friends sometimes as he is still only on console ^^

I will keep posting in the next weeks and share my feedbacks about this new PC experience form a console pov.

Hurry to cross blades with u on the battlefield if you don't spam emotes on my death body after !

But as i'm gonna be matched with beginners for the next 20 reps at least i think before it puts me in my skills bracket, we gonna have to wait a bit for that haha

Well shoot, you now have a more powerful rig than my PC. I can only get a max of 60fps as my monitor is 60hz. Not that my 750ti would be able to pump out more tbh. Congrats and welcome to the PC master race! You may now commence lusting over framerates and hardware.

Thanks Vakris ! I'm like a child right now tbh, it suits Christmas period perfectly.

Yep, don't crack your 750ti with more than 60fps ! Anyway i think 60fps are enough to deal correctly with 400ms attacks

Master Race feels damn good Thx for the welcoming

You're most welcome. I was going to upgrade to a 1060 at the start of this month actually but the card I got was defective so now I probably have to wait until after Xmas until I can get another one. I resisted the urge to post "Wow. Wow. Good Fight!" to the manufacturer, let me tell you
