Special Operation 3 will feature a strong new theme with PvE and PvP content, community-requested features, and more. Let’s jump into some details:
PvE Mission and Rewards: Special Operation 3 will contain a free PvE mission and other rewards.
PvP Classes + Maps: Two Ghost War classes inspired by the Special Operation 3 theme will join the fight. We will also have two new maps for you to test their kits on.
Year 2 Pass: Year 2 pass holders will get access to another pack containing community-requested items, as well as early, direct access to the Ghost War classes starting December 11 for one week.
Photo Mode: Capture your epic moments and the beautiful scenery of the Wildlands with our new Photo Mode feature.
Prestige Economy: Based on community feedback, we will be implementing further updates to the Prestige Economy that build upon the changes from Special Operation 2. We’ll have more information coming soon.
New Customization Items: More than 90 new items will be added to the store, including a new pack related to the theme.
We will have more intel to share with you soon on the theme, PvE, and PvP content.

Just saw the post.on facebook. Disappointing update.

A useless photo mode that is not going to do anything for the game, such a waste of resources and time.

The only thing that can save the update is the pve mission.

Was hoping that some sort of "contracts" (as mentioned on reddit) or randomly generated pve side missions would be added in one of these updates. The game has come a long way and while not everything requested has been added I've been impressed with ubisoft efforts so far (compared to other developers). My biggest problem now is I spend a lot of time in the game and am running out of new things to do. I've done all the missions so many times now I wish there was some sort of randomly generated end game pve side missions (hostage extractions, HVTs, stealth sabotage, etc...). We're getting all this great community requested gear (panoramic NVGs, 416 sbr, lvoa-c, JPC, etc...) but not enough new things to do with all the new toys. A new mission is great but everyone will blow through it 30 times by January.

New content is great if it works, but it has to actually work...

Random/contract missions aren't currently planned, but the team is aware of the suggestion.

-I would advise they lower the # of "new" items listed if 90% of those items are poses or emotes.... oh and adding useless vehicles doesnt count either (posted before Santa Blanca Wheelbarrow revealed as an unlock)

Man I can't wait to spend for the opportunity to spend 5 dollars on 4 emotes and voice lines! Guarantee that 90% of the new items will be unrequested, undesired, useless, or just worthless.
