I got 2106 uPlay points and srsly, the "rewards" for games that I own are just crap. I don't want the skins, the half useless weapons, the outfits that I will never use and all that. The 31st of march I will apperently loose over 600 points...

Ubisoft, don't do it! You are getting very close to being the worst gaming company if you do this. I can admit I can find no really good reason for it to be like it has ALLWAYS been except for the fact that players will turn on you and the fact that this sounds greedy. Instead of us stocking up on points you want us to use them as much as possible to sell more stuff... I still don't get it why EA is allways brought up as greedy but never you, Ubisoft or Blizzard...

EA, then Blizzard, then Bethesda and now it's Uplays turn huh.
It's like all these companies have a bet of who can screw their customers the best competition.

If you think this is the first thing Ubisoft has done to piss on customers, you really need to look into their history. They like to keep themselves on par with EA sometimes unfortunately.

What's most amusing is the main system to redeem these points for anything half-useful is fundamentally broken and as far as I can tell has been for at least a fair time, club.ubisoft.com can't even be loaded due to CORS settings, any even half-decent browser from the past several years will fail to load the page it looks like.

They just sent out an email today also about it. I strongly disagree that this should happen. I have been saving my points to spend them on things later down the road that they create is valuable. I don't want to have to spend them on random crap that sucks just because its a "use it or lose it" situation.

Why though? Makes no sense, it's not like we can hoard them and buy 5,000 copies of the latest Assassin's Creed to give away. These things are basically useless outside of collecting or getting weird **** off Uplay like backgrounds and in-game trinkets.

This better be a joke, I am completely against this change. I use these points to unlock all the extras on every game I play because I claimed so many in the early years of Uplay. I'm not going to sit down and play more of their games, when I lack the time and money, just so I can unlock extras for the next game that comes out that I actually want to play. Also april fool's jokes are meant to be used The Day OF and not half a year prior this will just cause mistrust for the company as a whole.

Ever notice pop-ups begging you to spend your extra points? They think unspent points are bad, as if they're making money off club purchases. Bad move.

Collecting points makes no sense to me. Two years is plenty time, spend those points and get rewards!

Greed is taking over in this company and a huge greed.

- AC Odyssey is a disgusting butchery of AC franchise with disgusting MT supported by material grind to push those MTs.

Hell I think the universe is trying to tell me something since I am going to be a father next year. And that is that I will no longer have time for games, but your company is making sure I will not even like to play - at least not your future products with this attitude. And this was one of my favourite gaming companies

what you are doing is wrong and this greed will eventually backfire and hard. Greed before your customers never ends well.

I really hope they will change this. Christ i got 1824 all across pretty much most of titles in my account collection. And not all rewards are worth spending. Come on. Please change this UBI. Dont let us down.
