Top level Valks, what do you do in duel?

Valk's main mixup seems to be starting up a heavy attack and either soft feinting it into shield bash or hard feinting it into GB. However, the shield bash is reactable, so it isn't really a mixup and more of a gimmick that blows up opponents who cannot react. I'm not sure why they made the shield bash reactable, since people can already react to the heavy attack startup to try to read when it's coming. It seems like a useless mixup against opponents who react.

Top level Valks, do you have any extra tricks that can overwork the opponent's brain and make reacting to stuff more difficult? I'm looking for the opinions of top/high level duelists. I'm not looking for stuff that works at Gold/Plat level because Valk's regular kit is good enough against mediocre players.

    Here's some thoughts I had:
Let the side heavy fly into delayed top light since top light seems to be the fastest, and mix that up with top heavy/top heavy > shield bash. The idea being trying to get them to parry top and then punishing it with a heavy or a shield bash.

Let the shield bash fly, they dodge it and you do a heavy attack after, ideally preventing guard break and parry attempts on the followup light, and then mixing up with a delayed light attack chain finisher (these seem to be pretty fast, but I'm not sure how fast. Any valks know?), delay sweep finisher, delay guard break, or another heavy attack.

Overall it seems like a lot of work for Valk's mediocre damage and I'm wondering if it's worth dueling with her or if I should just stick to 4s.

If I were to change something about Valk, I'd make the shield bash faster, but make it come later in the heavy animation to keep the reaction time to the setup approximately the same. This would give her a true "unreactable" mixup, but it would still be beatable with light attacks, dodge attacks, etc. I would also make her side light finishers undodgeable, because they're really cool and it would make them useable as a mixup with her sweep finisher, which opponents like to dodge on prediction (even though it seems reactable.)
