Really at the end of the day which carbine you carry doesn't make that much difference.
Unless I'm missing something the Darkdally video shows a level 30 character, not a Tier leveled P416. Regardless, one can also assume the skills are also maxed.

Yes, end of the day, the carbine carried doesn't indeed make that much difference, especially in non-Tier mode. In Tier, I believe it can make a difference.

    The AK47 is terrible...

It’s a shame as when I role play my rebel sniper I like to use more basic weapons or weapons that fit the character. I like the AK47, but I find it one of the worst assault rifles in the game...

Yeah, they love them. Specifically because there is nothing as good as an undertrained Taliban fighter trying to deal with a weapon malfunction. I mean that is why they abandoned so many of them that the handed them out in droves to the Taliban so that it is now a very close second to the AK in Afghanistan.

Oh yeah, let's not forget that upper receiver harmonic that kills electronic optics in under 1000 rounds. Nothing like being in the field and having your optic crap out and have to go those irons you never bothered to zero.

Start at 3:55 mark. Big letters "Previous Footage". He is clearly Tier 5(as he is racking up experience there at Tier 5). Taking down alerted enemies.

Sniping? Enemies disappear at around 400-500m. The MP7 has an effective range out to, if IRC 250m. Suppresors(not silencers) actually add speed and, though impact "power" to a bullet(about 3% increase in muzzle velocity), which would actually mean a longer effective range. So yeah, if you are trying to drop someone further than 250m with an SMG, that is a little unrealistic. Within 250m, totally legit.

Heck, the MK24 by HK had an effective range of 110m, and that was a handgun. That would actually be enough for most "sniping" in this game.

It's a certainly a pair of well known memes that SCARs (a) malfunction and (b) break optics at supposedly statistically significantly higher rates than other similar weapons, but neither issue has sullied my experience. And if a battle rifle is what you want there's not much better choice out there.

It's like anything else, I think. Mileage varies, and everyone exaggerates what they like and hate about what they like and hate. In the end if it works for you it's not stupid. ))))

Okay. My bad as I had forgotten his earlier video snipes sliced in, given the last half was not on Tier.

Sadly the SMGs all have horrible accuracy stat forcing you to use all the ugliest weapon parts to make then viable. The SR635 and the 9mm C1 outdamage most of the assault rifles, but they can't keep on target. There's really no point using the front pistol grip on any of them if you want to use full auto fire.

So you were in the 75th and used them downrange?

Nobody in blue squadron ever deployed with one. We went straight from M4s to 416s, but our mission profile didn't have us doing a lot of patrols and engagements at distance. Though the Navspecwar book on them was thick and mostly unkind for the malfunctions and other problems.
