You can have fashion sense or you can carry a metric ton of ordinance. Your choice. It would make the game realistic. Right now Nomad is an ammo mule. I've seen resupply choppers not carrying that much ordinance. If all of it had weight, that would be great. I could chose to load out how I want. If I got body armor that actually did something other than look good that would be great.Originally Posted by non-exist-ent Go to original post
Breaching is an art as well as a science. A good breacher is a god send. A bad breacher and you are charging into a room seeing double. My craziest was a capture mission in Iraq. It was supposed to be a quick in and out. A guy we called Bull was going to kick the door. Well Bull hits the door, there is a flash followed by a blast that knocks the rest of us on our butts. We storm in... The target is hiding in a bedroom, the family, that had moved into the salon, they are rolling on the floor holding their ears. Only problem is we can't find Bull. So QRF gets called in. They call in the Rangers and Marines. Six hours later, some Ranger is patroling a good 50m from the door and hears a groan. Goes to check it out, there is Bull laying in a trash heap. Kicking leg was broke in three places, and his back was cracked... But he was alive. When he finally returned to full duty we called him Cannonball.Originally Posted by RedCeII Go to original post
How you breach typically depends on the situation. I'm pretty sure that the argument they had with twitch was that there was no need for an explosive breach in those circumstances. Especially as you utilize explosive breaches just a little later in the same mission.Originally Posted by Kane_sg Go to original post
