This has been mentioned already but I don't want UBI to forget that those two guns are quite useless at the moment.
LVOA does less damage than the starting rifle, and about half damage compared to the top rifles. super 90 is less powerful than the spas with short barrel, roughly 25% weaker.
LVOA magazine is still placed incorrectly and clips through the trigger guard, grenade launcher has weird placement, and the comp optic is tilted.
Realistically, the further down the hardguard you hold, the more stable you’ll be. So having the grips closer to the receiver would actually be detrimental.
I would like the LVOA-C to see a damage buff too though. I use the ACOG sight, and it’s positioned on the LVOA-C is a far better place than on the 416, so I’ve actually found myself favoring it over the 416 despite the lower damage output.
It’s true... from testing data I’ve seen, the LVOA-C is one of the lowest damage ARs as it takes an additional bullet or two to take down a heavy. But what it lacks for in damage, it makes up for in accuracy and lack of recoil which can mean more lead on target at range. The HK 416 was my fav AR for a long time and is still the best in close quarters, but the LVOA-C makes it look bad at range. It’s grouping is much tighter. I now prefer it. And it looks tacticool with that full length guard and rail.
Having said all that, there’s no reason it’s damage should be less than all the other 5.56 ARs.
There are a couple of laser beam ARs, G2 and the SR3M. Both of these do more damage than the LVOA while having high rate of fire and tight grouping. This added with all the visual bugs of the LVOA make it unusable for me. Ps. keep a long barrel on the G2 or it will not damage armored cars like the 4x4.
There is a G2 in game? IRL that is a laser beam AR. It was designed by 2 DevGru guys to be a flat shooting squad designated marksman/sniper rifle. Really great rifle, and super light.Originally Posted by Jay_Aitch Go to original post
I disagree. But only at a personal level. It’s a case of personal preference. I’ve always favoured a foregrip position closer to the magazine. I’ll even ignore the foregrip completely and hold the front of the magazine housing to shoot. (Although that’s generally for rounds fired just after a mag change). That’s how I feel most stable. I also tend to pull the butt of the weapon into my chest, rather than shoulder, with elbows down and tucked in. (This also has the added benefit of keeping your body armour toward the threat, rather than blading which opens up the armpit area.)Originally Posted by RedCeII Go to original post

While they call it a "G2" in the game it's very clearly a G1 with that gross old style magwell (and not an F1 because it does have the larger triggerguard for gloves).
Quite odd considering no one really uses a G1. French Navy upgraded to G2s which are pretty awesome, French Army still use old F1s because they...hate change? Are poor? I dunno.
G1 is really just an F1 with a few ergonomic improvements, but it wasn't mass produced for anyone, and the G2 features both the ergonomic changes and some ballistics and material improvements like tighter rifling and fibreglass replacing some of the plastic. Hands down a better weapon.
