Question to FH PC Players | Forums

Hey guys,

I play on PS4.

But as i have to change in a near futur my labtop, i would like to know if some of you guys have tried to play FH on a gamer mobile pc ?

Most of you would probably recommend a fix one, but i would keep going to focus on console and i just would like my new labtop to do the things for work and to do the job in terms of gaming only for FH sometimes .

Any gaming PC you would recommand ?

Price is fine for me till 1200€.

do not get yourself a laptop

i tell you from years of experience

i advise you to find a good PC pieces or you could find a good fixed one

to be fair

laptops are less likely to decay which is the only advantage they have

i used to be a console player for half decade and i can ensure you that the best gaming joyful experience is with a good PC ( desktop ) .

I think I have a relatively cheap laptop, For Honor still ran smoothly on it with lower graphic settings. I think you won't notice any drawbacks with a good laptop, not with For Honor at least.

I have a Dell G7 15 laptop and it seems to run For Honor just fine. Definitely recommend playing with a wired connection though

I have a Lenovo legion, it is £800 (~$1000) so on the cheap end of gaming laptops, it runs AAA games, most of the newer ones on lowest graphics however.

Again I emphasise £800 is cheap for a gaming laptop, desktops you can get more with less money.

Seriously though. Laptops can run the game just fine, but you will want a decent graphics card (none of that integrated Intel-BS) and as much ram as you can get for your money. Also a multi-core CPU. At least four cores and you'll be fine. The laptop format's biggest flaw when it comes to gamin is the screen, bit size (they tend to be pretty small) and situation, making you hunch over, which is bad for your back. The keyboard may work fine, or it can be absolute crap for gaming, that ir more down to your preference and hopefully you'll invest in a decent mouse if you're not going to connect your controller to the thing.
In the end - stationary PCs are the best for gaming, but laptops will do the trick.

I believe you but as i said, i just want a new laptop doing the job for occasional gaming on pc

Overall i've also seen the Acer Predator helios 300 but i wonder if this isn't too much for occasional PC gaming sessions.

FH should run fine on a laptop, the game is well optimized for the current and even last generation (or even one before) of hardware. The Predator Helios 300 will definitely run FH with at least medium settings, probably a mix of high/very high.

You'll want to make sure your WiFi adapter is good though.

The pros mostly hook up controllers to their PCs for FH. I use keyboard/mouse, it's fine unless you're trying to compete in tournaments.
