    +1.

I'm not 100% sure since I don't have either of them, but I believe the Cobra is designated in-game as either "Military Chopper" or "Rocket Chopper". One would be the Cobra, and the other would be the AH-6 with rocket pods. Technically, they're both military and both have rocket pods (Cobra's being guided). The "Military Chopper" is "Legendary" available though Spec Ops crates, while the "Rocket Chopper" is "Epic" available through Spec Ops crates. Given that "Legendary" is superior to "Epic", and that the AH-1 Cobra has both missiles (guided rockets) [pilot controlled] and a gun turret ['co-pilot'/gunner controlled], whereas the AH-6 with rocket pods just has rockets, I would presume that the AH-1 Cobra is the "Military Chopper".

This is my least favorite thing about this game. I just want to buy the things I want to buy. I don't gamble and this is gambling. If game companies don't take this out of games, they are going to get regulated like Wall Street.

It's only gambling if there's a chance you'll get nothing. Items may be randomized, but you still get an item for the money you spend. Thus, not gambling.

Military Chopper is the Cobra(which the game calls an Apache whenever Unidad shows up with one to kill you).

That you get no duplicates means you can spend a set amount of money and get all of the DLC items in a given crate set. There are games that have crates(EA prducts come to mind) where you can spend $50 and get a ton of dupes and a bunch of stuff you farm in game anyway(i.e. nothing). So I'm pretty sure that these are a step or two removed from gambling.

That also explains why the game has such aberrant round trajectories. I, myself, would prefer that devs focus their efforts on producing an engine -- and card manufacturers on a card -- that can render targets significantly beyond (2x) the effective range of the longest range simulated weapon system that can be used... without sacrificing proximal detail. High expectations? Absolutely. Not being able to acquire a target 600m out because it's beyond rendering capabilities and therefore doesn't even 'exist' until you close the distance on a simulated rifle with a realistic effective range three plus times greater? Ridiculous. NB. The current record (2017) with the Tac-50 is 3450m... a fact the store conveniently neglects to mention, given that it isn't realizable in-game.

If you'd introduce jet aircraft, you'd have to increase acquisition ranges exponentially beyond that. Moreover, that wouldn't be consistent with the resources (inc. runways) available to the scale of this fictional operation. It's clear that game limitations dictated focus on VTOL and slow moving aircraft and in the related issue on assault rifles, since the game's sniper rifles are essentially fluff.

Hugo-FOU, based on your top two helicopter suggestions, I gather you're from the UK... I can respect that. I think the Apache would be serious overkill... the in-game Cobra is, too, but it's tempered with limited accessibility. Given the scope of the operation, the AH-6 and UH-60 are adequate for players to accomplish any given objective(s) with diversified gameplay. That's also done under the context of SOF. If we were 'stealing' Bolivian helicopters, they'd be the US UH-1, as well as various French models.
    With regard to planes,

This http://https://goo.gl/images/vrmdNv is more what I had in mind.

I agree the apache would be overkill. They’d have to give it the same capabilities as the cobra.

exactly like that, I was thinking about additional planes like in Far Cry 5.

Well then, obviously the only reasonable course of action is to add the Apache and call it the Spectre.

I just want to buy what I want to buy. I don't want to have to buy a bunch of stuff I don't want to get one thing I do want. Paying money for a random outcome is my definition of gambling.

Not sure what you mean, here, Mountain. I read Bone's statement as self-explanatory. When you go to your GRN dashboard, under the left-side Battle Crates tab, it gives you a list of all the items, indicates which of them you have, and the means of procuring them (specific battle crates). When you are in the store and go to your battle crate inventory, select a crate type (ie. Spec Ops or Ghost War), it states that you will get three non-repeating items from the list per the specific crate. That means that, presuming the list isn't always expanding, you can, as Bone stated, "...spend a set amount of money and get all of the DLC items in a given crate set".
