LMAO. Attacking the P-51 people was always a diversion to hide the oceans of Luft-tears shed over the 20MM.

    Be sure. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

    That topic never gets old.

Hasn't anyone seen "The Money Pit" with Tom Hanks and Shelly Long? The "Two weeks" thing was really prevalent in that movie. Maybe that's where Oleg got it from

Okay, okay, I admit you got a good case here, but I'm still not convinced though.

I'm going to have to take a couple weeks to think about it.

I just googled two weeks from rof forum, wanted to read the orginal Oleg post, gues thats not posible enymore .

But I do remember reading it back in the day. People was frustrated and angry because of no news about a update. When Oleg finely answared the question of how long until the update, whit the famous two weeks be shure . But it did ofcourse not get famouse because it took two weeks, but because it took months after the two weeks post until the patch finaly arived. And the frustration of course came from that IL2 patches was free, but had more countent in each then the best of DLC today

So how long is two weeks? An undefined amount of time, that is most likely a ling time :P

"luftwhiners" came about because of the DM during the 1.x patches

the players of the EAW who went on the blue side had a massive disadvantage all the way untill the F model became available

once the Aces expansion came out it all changed tho, & by that stage the EAW was on the wind down

Olegs Ready Room operated a little different to the general & the pilots lounge - because Oleg was answering questions directly. people actually minded their manners

over the duration of the 1.xx patches it went steadily downhill - you have to remember also that IL2 had the largest online Air Combat population. with so many having knowledge & opinion over what should be changed, & with constant patches & beta patches, you had expectation that wasnt getting met

by the time of Aces release, ORR had open abuse like the other forums & Oleg was down to once a month posting
