Ground and Sky flickering black and white | Forums

Hey guys,

I've been searching the forums a bit and there's lots of graphical threads and people with issues but I'm not sure mine fits exactly. The problem is most of the ground and parts of the sky are flickering black and white (mostly black). I have dual 770 GTX running in SLI and the game worked fine before..just reinstalled and now it's nearly unplayable.

Things I've done:

- Updated all drivers
- re-installed the game and uplay
- changed a multitude of settings in game following many threads
- disabled SLI
- ran in full, windowed and borderless

No other games have this problem. Any advice would be welcome.

The video uploaded clearly shows the issue as you suggested.

Just to have a better idea about the problem - does this start to happen when you play the game for a little while or is it something that takes effect as soon as your in the game?

I personally had a similar issue and the whole screen used to start flickering however that was due to the fact that the PC used to overheat. Initially it used to be fine but after a certain point, it used to start flickering more and more until it was literally unplayable.

It happens when I start the game and never goes away. It didn't used to do this I played it before and didn't have a problem but now that I'm trying again it's happening. I'm not sure if this is relevant but the game also takes quite a long time to load (60-120 seconds). Does this resemble a card issue from what you have seen?

Alright then.

Can you try using different in-game video settings to see if that has any impact on this? Additionally, can you also have a look at the basic PC troubleshooting FAQ and see if any of the steps help you to resolve this.

If the issue persists however, can you submit a support ticket and upload the following:

1. MsInfo
2. DxDiag
3. In-game screenshot of your video settings

This will then allow us to investigate the problem further if it's not resolved.
