I think Ubisoft should have an option to disable the stupid repetitive timed capture missions. These have made the game unplayable for me and a waste of money. Ubisoft have received many complaints judging by the forum posts. They obviously no interest in correcting their error so I have no interest in buying any more Far Cry games.
I think it is basically solo with AI team mates (like Wildlands) though you can coop.
The game is pretty fun but as these threads are full of, you'll very quickly learn to hate the capture scenes. I have gotten to where when it says capture team coming, I just go out in the open and wait. While that is there, I go get on FB on my phone, or go make myself a sandwich. Some parts can be skipped with ESC, but not all. It totally kills the immersion, and to me it feels like they were struggling to tell the story in the open world. Personally, I'd rather have fun games with little story than one with lots of story elements. If I want to watch cutscenes, I'll go watch Family Guy.
I would say you people are kiddies with little patience. The capture scenes are really easy once you learn the ropes of how to get through them. Just try and try again until you succeed, Put the game on easy difficulty if you wish, run like hell. On the first capture scene, all you need to do is get past the room and fall down the shaft and it ends. The next two after you fall down the shaft you have to run through a passageway and kill the last enemy. You don't have to kill everyone just as long as you don't run out of time before you kill the last enemy. BTW I am a 69-year-old pensioner.
