So, i've been gone from GRW for months because all of the bugs and such that made the game awful to play. But today decided to give it another try and downloaded a 15gb update. First the update halts at about 70% and doesn't continue until i restart uplay - then it completes. Next i start the game, no problems there, until i go to saved games - my tier 30 something ghost mode character has disappeared. I take a deep breath and sigh. I load another character, get to the lobby and click launch. Game starts, zooms to the character, and the screen turns black. Music still playing and rebels talking in the backround but nothing else happening, just black screen. Ctrl+Alt+Del and quit the game. I click play again. Continue campaign, get to lobby and click launch. Now i get to move my character - for about minute until screen turns black again. And pretty much same thing, every try after that. Can't play this game anymore. I have verified game files (everything was ok) and tried all the usual ubisoft recommended fixes and whatnots. I give up.

Hey MashinGod, sorry to hear that. Are you using a controller or mouse/keyboard when you can't control your character?

Mouse and keyboard. But it doesn't really matter anymore - uninstalled the game and uplay. Won't bother wasting my time anymore on a game has new bugs on every launch.
